A moderator for the maps & waypoints forum ?
 

There seems to be quite some activity these days in the maps & waypoints section of the forum ("Forge of Digital Worlds"). These forums are not currently moderated by somebody in particular except the Super Moderators (botman and Austin) and the Council members.

Perhaps it's time to elect a moderator there. I propose SoUlFaThEr, since he knows the mapping and waypointing business pretty well (I think he's the best of us), he's an old timer from the Nuclearbox and Poxbot forums and an overall nice guy. :)

If there's need for another moderator as well several others may be asked (T Wrecks ?) - but we'll see this in the future. Currently it would be good to have at least one moderator and we'll see later if he needs help or not.

Of course SoUlFaThEr is welcome to contribute to the discussion! ;)

What do you reckon ?

I have no problems with that. I think its better to have a moderator specificly on that part as the other moderators tend to skip this board (including myself ::) ) due 'lack of interest'.

Who said a Council couldn't take quick decisions ? :D

Seems like a good choice to me. SF knows both mapping AND waypointing, wheras I only possess modest waypointing skills. Besides, I'm about to take my diploma, and this will of course eat up much of my future time. It remains to be seen how much time I'll be able to dedicate to this forum, but I'll be glad to help wherever I can.
