REALbot & CSbot
Can they work together? I tried loading both but only RB loaded & not csbot.
I have the csbot set to not join after a human does meaning they should join at server startup. Any ideas? EDIT: It seems that the realbot dll doesn't play well with the csbot as it fails within 60secs of server starting. I wanted RB to learn some cz maps in case I add cz maps to my cs server & not run a cz server at all. Anyone have any ideas about this? |

Why not install RealBot on a CZ server WITHOUT adding any RealBots.... Add like 6 CZBots and let them run around playing like the pros they are, and RealBot will watch them and add waypoints for the map?
BTW -- CZBots can learn a new, custom map in about 2 rounds, and unlike RealBots, they don't sit around doing nothing. They'll walk around, checking out halls, rooms, and looking for hiding spots, just like n00bs do when they first play a map. :) I think I'm gonna set up a non-playable server on my machine for waypoint files to be generated on by CZBots running around and RealBot.dll watching. :) Assuming that I don't have MetaMod/Realbot errors in CZ servers. 9_9 |

How is realbot going to learn if they're not loaded? They can't since they're not in the map to learn it.

The bots dont have to be PLAYING. The DLL just has to be LOADED.

Thing is, I can't load realbot with czbot as realbot dll crashes withing one minute of server starting.

Well, like I said, there's probably gonna be bugs. RealBot is designed for Counter-Strike and probably won't react well with Condition Zero, even if they are extremely similar. There's still differences.

each time I tested it, RB crashed as soon as a csbot killed an RB I think.

So dont have any RB bots isnt that what he just said he was planning on doing?
