rbx collective

I am willing to host rbx files on my site http://420blunt.web1000.com
Am I correct in assuming that:
~rbn files are not needed
_______~They are created the first time you play a map
_______~They are all the same size
_______~rbx files do not need the rbn file they learned on (unless the map has same name but is different)
I will start by posting my rbx files, once I am sure others will be able to use them. I like 95% sure this will work, let me know if I'm wrong....

hmmmm.... seems my site went down???:'( ???:(

rbn and rbx files are connected. You MUST use the corresponding RBX & RBN file. Else the bots will have totally screwed up data.

Re: rbx collective

so if i took the rbx file from a diff server and used it with my server's rbn file... the rbx would not work? all the rbn files are the same size, so i figured they were the map layout info; and the rbx files were the actual ai waypoints.
I guess it would make everything a whole lot easier if i included both the rbx and rbn files in a realbot waypoint pack. I'll probably wait until the official non WIP release to put together a waypoint pack

I don't understand....then why does the nodes download section of this site offer only .rbn files without the corresponding .rbx files?

the rb website is in desperate need of an update, however, stephan has not had internet access for the past few weeks so i dont see that coming anytime soon.

If I got this right than the .rbn files contain the nodes (waypoints) and the .rbx files the bots experience on the map. Therefore you won't need the .rbx files as the bots would simply start to learn dangerous places etc. of the map from scratch.

Terran is right.
RBN files only contain node information. RBX files have experience data LINKED to these nodes. So if you use a different (non-corresponding) RBN file , you will have messed up data.

Thanks for the replies...i think I'm getting there. The .RBN files rule and dummy .RBX are created each time a map is loaded for the first time. ....and you can only exchange matching pairs of .RBN and .RBX that have been created together on the same server.
