Load the jump program...

Yess! The Latest release is the good stuff!

Good gamplay and combat behavior!
(got killed several times by well aimed he! :-)

I LOVE the waypointeditor! Thats what i've been looking for! SUPER!!!

One Question though:

I dont get the bots to jump over gaps.
i set the jump and dont aviod fall Flags on the wpt on both sides of the gap
activate the advanced movement system to record the jump, start with pathwaypoint create1, jump the gap and so on...

but the bots dont get it. They walk the gap and fall...

What do i do wrong?

already tried to switch on autowaypointing and then jump over the gap ? also check if the advancedmovement flag isnt disabled. I currently have no readme here, so just look there for the command.... but it should be enabled by default

Re: Load the jump program...

Hi! Thanks for the hints! Here's what i did:

i acitvated the advm flag - no change

I tried the autowaypointing but the results are not good:
The map (de_oeuf) is already waypointed so autowaypointing simlpy wont set a point where i touch down. (because other points are to close?)

Next try: I removed the nearest points and jumped again. This time the sound indicated that the autowaypoint system worked. But instead of creating a waypoint where i landed, the system built a path to the "nearest" waypoint which was ridiculously far away???:(.

Then i just set two wpt, added jump and daf flags, activated advm, connected them by jumping back and forth and gave up. result: some bots make it. most fall down...

Maybe the gap is to small for the bots to realise that they have to jump.
Maybe I'm stupid. But im spoiled by the podbot jump recorder. Just activate it, do some fancy trickjump and - it works! That would be some improvement...

Anyway: If you have some further advice i would be grateful.

Hi!
They do it! They do jump nice and easy! All it took was to play a few more rounds! They "learned" it? Anyway; Sorry for my complaint. I was wrong.
