How to add Bots to a Dedicated Server
I have two computers in a LAN. One is a dedicated CS-server with Realbot, the other the client.
Before this metamod update I just wrote in the console of the client: "rcon_password xxxxx", "rcon rbds addbot" asf... With this new metamod version how do I spawn bots? The command "rcon meta" works as it shows all available commands of the metamod. "rcon meta list" also works and shows that realbot plugin is loaded. I have tried "rcon meta rbds addbot", "rcon meta addbot", "rcon rbds addbot" + alot of non-logical variations... ???:( Please, can someone help me? |
Re: How to add Bots to a Dedicated Server
hmm, perhaps you can try this:
rcon_rbds_addbot or rcon rbds_addbot i have to look into this though, i haven't taken a look to the dedicated server command list for some time now. |
Re: How to add Bots to a Dedicated Server
I've tried those and a couple of other combinations, but to no avail. Any other suggestions?

Re: How to add Bots to a Dedicated Server
its about the underscore, you DID use them? if not, i don't know, will take a look at the source.

Re: How to add Bots to a Dedicated Server
Yes. I did use the underscores. Try it yourself before digging into the code. Maybe i have missed something elementary...

Re: How to add Bots to a Dedicated Server
i got the same problem, just in case it wasnt specified...im runnin dedicated server now as opposed to listen server in my other post (how to remove bots)
so how do u do it? what would be good would be a list of all commands related to realbot that are possible while running dedicated server . |
Re: How to add Bots to a Dedicated Server
Now i have also tried "rbds rb_addbot" and "meta rbds rb_addbot". It doesn't work.
