Bots get stuck. help please !
 

Hello. I am a beginner and i have a problem. (:o)
I have two bots which are getting stucked where they meet. I don't why they do that and how to deblock them.
Can you help me ? :'(

This is almost the problem of all bots out there, that 2 bots can get stuck very easily. The problem is caused by the Half-Life engine which treats bots differently than players. There's no solution AFAIK apart reprogramming the bot to make it unstuck better... :(

Or don't use these bots on maps with very narrow passages where two bots might get stuck...

mine get stuck on opposite sides of ladders swinging their crowbars at one another but never moving.Not a big deal just a couple of easy kills heh.

A possible improvement to the bot code would be to make the bot duck when climbing ladders. This way they would hit each other.

If any coder wants to give it a go, feel free :)
