bots steal hostage ? and some problem
 

first thank you for this great bots,it have many function which help us to control them
i read the change log of podbot and it says that bots won't steal hostage anymore but i found they steal another bots's hostage,so one bot pick up,another steal ,and another pick up ,this continued .... . we know that if we pick up hostage twice,the hostage won't follow us, it seems that they push the hostage into wall corner and pick up many times and can't make the hostage follow them

i think that the bots are too slow to decide what they do,
such as i see it takes many times for them to start shooting at the breakable, especially when the breakable below or above them when climbing ladder ,when the breakable on the jump connection (the glass in de_osaka_beta1) when they walking backward (crouch) through the iron breakble
not only breakable ,i think they should be more assertive
sorry if i request too much , i know this is the product of hard working
and it is very difficult, but i love this bot and i want it to be better

You need to install first the fullpack (V3B21), then update it with V3B21b (it contains some files only - so You need to update those they come with the fullpack). If they have troubles with pickuping the hostage - more than likely it's a bug.

yes, may be it 's a bug. i already download the all in one pack V3B21 and replace these files by V3B21b , this problem still happens,i hope it will be fixed

I have the exact same problem described here. I'm hosting a cs_assault server and the bots seem to get stuck with the hostages, which is very annoying. I have updated all files. Can this bug be fixed somehow?

i used your latest version of podbot (october 2011) and see these hostage problems:
1. podbot doesn't care where the hostages are ,they just go to the goal waypoint and try to pick up but they can't because the hostages are not there (they are left in other places)
2. in cs_italy i placed waypoint near between the 2 hostage ,and podbot can't pick up them although the hostage still stand there
what a pity it happens , i think hostage is the important things of game
in addition to ,i see yapb bot can pick up hostage with no problems ,so i think it can be fixed ,would you like to fix it ? thanks
