Help with v 1.6.5.2 crashes
 

Hi, I downloaded and installed the newest version of JoeBot with Metamod.
I am running a retail version of CS and currently use Steam. Now the Internet play is unaffected, but when I try to start a LAN Server the game crashes :( .
The error message is always the same:"HL.exe caused an invalid page fault in GAMEUI.dll at register...etc." I have downloaded the latest release, and extracted it where the instructions said to. Any Ideas? I need to work on my game by using bots, and I do not want to spend money on CZ!!

So, nobody has any ideas at all? C'mon, any suggestions would probably help. Anything that I should double check, things you know have given people trouble; throw me any sort of a bone that I can work with. Just a simple pointer to get me started...

It sounds like I am going to have to uninstall Joebot, and try something else.
Do you know where I can find complete uninstall instructions? I suppose I could just delete all the folders extracted by the .zip file, and restore my original lib.gam file. Are there any registry entries to delete as well?

nothing you can do about how stupid steam is ... anything but releasing stuff every week.

uninstalling ... another point to add to the wiki ... just set your liblist.gam to the default. in cs1.5 it was "dlls/mp.dll", dunno what it is on steam
