Yep, its working. We had recently very solid spam bot attacks so I was forced to increase security but I have tested new registration and it is working. I also banned many spam emails. Perhaps your buddy is using black listed email provider?

Could you plase ask him for the email domain for me to check out.

Oh I overlooked the issue. His problem is not new registration. Perhaps he have faulty cookies...
