Linux HPB_bot finally packaged

Thanks to memed who kindly compiled us a nice HPB_bot library, we've finally been able to make a nice installer package for the HPB_bot for Linux servers. The installer is quasi identical to the one of the version 3.0, so you can't possibly get lost in the procedure. Except that you'll need metamod installed, but ah, what a deal :D

News and downloads at the HPB_bot website here:

Thanks to everyone who contributed ! :)

umm..
in botman's download section theres a section for linux so you didn't have to put (windows) and (linux).

Hi PMB,

nice to see it online 8)

wouldn't it be nice (convinient, less error phrone) if also a minimal metamod install would be avail. perhaps as separate download, for the typical server starter?
also i did not test the bot with older (plain 1.17) metamod, only the semi-patched bugfix release from admimod.org was tested quickly.
or a'm i wrong, i.e. HPB_Bot does not use any new api functions anyways, thus it will work ?

... yes but it's way too far down, this way it's ok, remember most come into bot as newbee's

Cheers MeMeD

the HPB_bot does not make use of barbaric new aPI functions, the only thing that could break the compiled plugin is a major version number change in metamod, but then just recompiling the plugin against the new metamod sources would do just fine.
