Also on this site I saw article about CS - "Counter-Strike 1.6 Also Native To Linux".
If "Valve" makes it, it will be much simpler to understand Counter-Strike source codes! :P

I tried it. Both HL and CS 1.6 works well - a little laggy compared to Quake 3 Arena on my old computer though :)
unlike HLDS, Steam for GNU/Linux is still required to run the game after downloading :(.

Unmodified version of YaPB also works with a little trick (renaming cs.so to cs_i386.so) ;)
