Need Help !!!

I welcome all. Probably this question was set more than once, but I shall be repeated. There is a question about RACC template 2, such thing is noticed, bots cost on a place and do not move, however if bot has come in game, and to a round already there is that she plays, on the following round she rises and does not move, in what there can be problems???

I am sorry if not so I am expressed, I do not know English language and I use the translator.

answer for a translator:
i am not the expert for RACC.
i have problems to understand you.
others can have problems to understand you.
what is your native language, perhaps some human here speaks that language too.
this will be easier.
your question looks complex.

cheers memed

/me feeling like weirdo, but heck i'm waiting bored ...

lol, translators are really funny sometimes :D

I don't know that bug you are talking about. It always worked perfectly for me. Anyway, because there were a lot of changes since the template 2, I couldn't even tell you where to look at (in the source code) if you want to fix it yourself.

Doing a "sv_restartround 1" in the console may help...

Whether it is possible download newer version RACC or newer source code for the subsequent compilation????

sv_restartround 1 does not help.... bots cost on a place and do not move, the given problem only in game counter-strike, in other games bots play normally.

I can send a demo a file where all this can be seen...

Re: Need Help !!!

yes, please send a demo. Ensure I can read it with Counter-Strike 1.5 though.

I can send you the newer source code if you want, but the bots won't be playable at all. They will stand still and do silly things. It's because I'm currently testing the cognitive system of the bots. I'm also testing their ability to walk paths. Nothing really useable for a game.

Re: Need Help !!!

I watched your demo. There is obviously a problem, but I don't know the cause. Perhaps the bots are stuck in the buy menus. Do you know C/C++ programming ? If so, you may be able to do something. In bot.cpp, BotThink() function, check the state of the pBot->b_not_started variable. This variable is set to TRUE when the bots are browsing through menus (such as buy menus) and FALSE when they finished buying and that they are about to start running.

If you don't know C/C++ programming, you'd better use another bot in the meantime :)

I was engaged in programming 5 years ago and programmed only on BASIC, but after that when I have learned that there is such project RACC and that information which I am placed on your site racc.bots-united.com unequivocally have solved will return to programming and to create bots, now I am engaged in studying C ++ and I hope at me all it will turn out. ______________________________________________
