Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
Finaly, i found this topic :)
I have a problem to start PodBotmm too ... Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
The server crash looks like this:
Code:
CRASH: Mon Apr 12 01:24:49 CEST 2010 Maybe, it is a problem that this version of PodBotmm has libc compiled in somehow? I mean, that may clash with the loaded version from /lib32, or? |
Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
I moved /lib32 and /emul:
mv /lib32 /lib32_MOVED mv /emul /emul_MOVED But then, HL does not start at all, as suspected: ./hlds_run: line 279: ./hlds_i686: No such file or directory warning: Can't read pathname for load map: Input/output error. Error while mapping shared library sections: /emul/ia32-linux/lib/libdl.so.2: No such file or directory. Error while mapping shared library sections: /emul/ia32-linux/lib/libpthread.so.0: No such file or directory. Error while mapping shared library sections: /emul/ia32-linux/lib/libm.so.6: No such file or directory. Error while mapping shared library sections: /emul/ia32-linux/lib/libc.so.6: No such file or directory. Error while mapping shared library sections: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: No such file or directory. So, is it possible to get PodBotmm without any linked in libcstd? Maybe that solves the problem? :-O |
Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
Podbot mm is statically linked with libcstd 6, so You shouldn't need to install that library and it should work. I'm asking THE STORM to help with this linux issue. Just wait for the answer. Don't multi-post (use "EDIT" button instead).

Thanx :)

Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
As I remeber correct, last time I helped you to static link libstd the version was 5. I guess that on the 64bit systems there is issues with this old version of the library even if it is static linked. If cygwin cross compiler can be updated somehow to use libstd++.6 maybe it will work. However if you already do this(as you mentioned) try to send dinamic linked version of the bots to this guys to see if work. If does we will have to think something, if not the issue is somewhere else and we will have to think again. :)

Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
Thanks for the help, but after reading that:
http://forums.bots-united.com/showpo...4&postcount=16 I'm getting confused. It looks we may have some troubles with the filebase... The main problem was he couldn't get working even statically linked podbot_mm_i386.so, so the only thing I could do was to compile for him debug version. I have already even done it, but since the problem is solved, the debug version is no needed anymore... :) |
Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
hi, i have same problem. i got everytime when i write meta list in my console "BADF". but i cant install anything on the linuxserver cause the cs 1.6 server is from ckras.com.

Re: Unable to load pb mm on Linux
Don't be lazy and read the topic - use more effort to put special debug commands, to see what and why isn't loaded. Hint - the first of this topic describes what and how You need to run to give us more details about Your problem.
