Extreme slow motion (TFC)

I was useing the HPB_bot_mm.dll on my server (Steam) the other day with FoxBot, when after a couple maps me & my friend noticed that it looked like the HPB was going in Extreme Slow Motion. Yup, they sure were.. And just dismorning this server proved it - 134.82.141.46:27015 <- - The bots there are moving Extremly slow..

Under properties the File version is: 2004.3.2.0
Is there newer?

Hmmm, useing same version for DMC & i've experienced no problems there.
Love the DMC HPB cuz they use the rocket launcher.. hehe

If they can be looked into for TFC & maybe updated that would be Great!

ps, They work Good for HolyWars beta2 steam server too! :D
Wish i could get Holywars beta 1 working on steam.. :(

I have no idea why they would be doing this.

Does kicking them from the server and having them rejoin take care of the slow motion problem, or do the newly created bots also move slow?

I'm gunna restart the server with only HPB & see.
I think the slowdown starts to come in around the 3rd or 4th mapchange.

{QUOTE]Does kicking them from the server and having them rejoin take care of the slow motion problem[/QUOTE] Hmmm, i never kicked them "heh didn't think to". I thought the slowdown was maybe gunna crash the server so i shutdown & restarted it without them. But this time i'll try kicking when they slowdown..

Dam, guess i'm cluless botman. But my fault to, when this originally happened it was before i formated the server puter. And now the HPB has ran over 20hrs but when i just now last checked the server was crashed due to "tfc.dll"... But the bots ran fine all that time, humans in & out.. Guess maybe if i put FoxBot & HPB together maybe i'll get what happens? But that server above that i gave IP for still has slow bots & there not running FoxBot? Odd.. I formatted, Updated & copy pasted my adminmod & plugins back in. Guess the format + Update fixed things?

it may because of the msec value.

"Guess the format + Update fixed things?"

Okee-dokee. If the problem shows back up again, try running with just HPB bot or just FoxBot and see if they will each run okay by themselves. You may have to wind up using one or the other.

Hi botman!

I run a STEAM DMC server (-=[ BODYCOUNT! ]=- DMC-PRO (68.5.0.143:27015) ) with HPB bots and I have this same slow motion problem every couple days where I have to restart the server (kicking and re-adding the bots doesn't fix, gotta restart server).

ALSO: I've noticed I get that z allocate/getspace error (sorry, don't remember exactly what it's called) every couple days when running hpb bots with dynamic minbot/maxbot settings.

I was about to remove the bots completely but Simon at dmc-central.com suggested I just lock the bots in at 2, instead of making them dynamic. Sure enough, this solved the problem (but I sure wish I could run dynamic bots without having to restart the server every few days because of the crash).

Running Windows box with steam dedicated server, AM 2.50.59 let me know if there's anything else you need, thanks for making such cool bots!
