-- Offline/LAN play (finally!)
-- Account Validation (via e-mail)
-- HL2 Survey
-- Support for buying games through Steam

It will be released at 9am EST, so I'll have to get it after school. But this is really good!

Great news. But, still no news of the official CS bots. I wonder what's up there. I can't wait to try them out at last.

The official CS bot is going to be included with Condition Zero. It will be avaliable on March 23.

Not sure if it will be avaliable to the mod users for offline play, however.

Well if you have this update you can now still play half-life(offline) when steam is down, such an improvement 9_9

Valve was under a DDoS earlier. Maybe you should be able to connect now.

fyi: after the update you can logout and clear your account info, then it's possible to zip the whole steam folder and use that for (re-)install later, even at your friends pc. it worked here for 4 systems which had still trouble getting the update after 3 days.
