Want waypoints?
 

Heyyo,

As most of ya know, I'm the official waypointer for E[POD]bot, and I've got a site full o' waypoints at:

and here's the question I've got, I've got some spare time for a bit, and was wonderin' if there's any popular map that I havn't waypointed that you guys think I should waypoint?

You can just use PODbot waypoints with EPODbot.
(But don't use waypoints for PM's Metamod POD-Bot !)

Hmm, De_rats 1 & 2 eh? I did them before... but they were on me ol' computer setup before it died... so I'll just rewaypoint em' tmorrow. :)

Go to my website now for DE_Rats 1 waypoints. I had probs with the CT bots and the fridge... I fixed it as much as I could... but still... *signs* oh well, I tried. :P

Ok, uhh... sry, forgot to update my postings here. :P

I finished CS_Rats2, and I'll finish DE_Rats3 inna few hrs cause it's part of the ratspack. :)

Also, I updated my DE_Storm waypoints, and now Terrorist stand a better chance cause I placed the Terrorist waypoints more tactically. :)

Heh, that was actually one of the 1st maps LN asked me to waypoint for E[POD]bot... but I seem to have misplaced it, cause I can't find it... Hmm, guess I'll have to waypoint it again. :P

Also can u tell me which folder I put them in? Because I downloaded waypoints for de_rats_2001 already and put it into all the waypoint folders in C:/SIERRA/Half Life/cstrike/PODBot/Wptcs10 and WPTCS11 and WPTCS6.x and WPTCS71 and WPTCustom and WPTDefault and it didnt work, it still says theres no waypoints for the map. Even on de_rats, wich has waypoints that come with PODbot. Is it because I have it in more than one waypoint folder at once?

Oops, I'm dumb, I put them in the epb waypoint folder and it worked, so dont worry, and I also noticed awp_map is already done.

Ok then, np. Yeah, sometimes I wish that E[POD]bot could radomly roam levels unwaypointed a few times using raccbot's code (old or newer...) and waypoint like that, and then run around by waypoints. but at this rate, I'll probaly jus use the new raccbot release for new map I'm too lazy to waypoint ;)

Heh, ok, I'll make those for ya. I'm not a big fan of AIM maps cause they deteriorate the idea of CS to a game of team deathmatch, but it's been a while since I last waypointed, so I'll do them. :P

also mard, i was just browsing your website, theres a post in there, i think november 2003 about an updated inferno waypoint, is that for 1.6 ? my inferno 1.6 waypoint doesnt work very well

Ok, yes, they're for CS 1.6. I always write a little comment below my submissions... I should've made it close to the bar... but whatever :P


Sry I havn't done any of those waypoints yet, I'll work on them today... I just started a new job (http://www.asr.ca ... full website to come later ;)) and I've been busy handing out flyers n' stuff... later on today I'm supposed to meet some important cilents, and hand out more flyers and run some errands to the town nearby... it's a full day for me, but I've got 30 mins free right now and that should be enough for an aim map or 2. ;)

Just to tells ya I'm still waypointing, but I noticed an error with E[POD]bot. Since it doesn't naturally support deathmatch maps, when I waypoint the maps, it freezes the games sometimes... I'll try to do it, save the waypoints and quit the game and start it back up... I think they diddn't like hwo I just saved n' reloaded the waypoints and that messed up the vistables. :P

Confirmed, I tried it with PODbot mm, bots don't work with those sk maps. Since they're not an official game type, and ruin the idea of cs turning it into deathmatch, getting bot support for it is unlikely... what you can do is plop down 1 waypoint and then save that, bots won't navigate good, but at least they'll work.... I'll waypoint that de_cpl map now...

Hmm MarD I found in the code of E[POD]bot that LightNinja's create small support for awp maps.
You must place goals waypoint on top the sniper weapons.
Maybe will work :).

No, that's not why dude, I think it's because the game spawns you in, and then gives you some weapons, so I think the bot doesn't like that... especially when it's with 2 primary weapons....

Maybe MarD will waypont this maps :D.
And this maps are not supported in E[POD]bot so maybe the bots will not work property on this maps.

I'm checking them out, lol, he_dodgeball's pretty funny... but the bots cheat! LMAO, they buy guns before the match starts, and they get to keep them ti'll next round! the buggers. :P

I'll post up again once I'm done the other 2 maps with it. ;)

Heh, already done de_cpl_strike inna previous pack, check my site. ;)

Those waypoints should be in the latest E[POD]bot release, but I have to check, cause some aren't the right ones.... I'm gonna fix up cs_assault cause the ones I have are the old LightNinja ones and some parts need fixing...

Soon I'm gonna be switching sites (hopefully today if I can get myself organized!) and it should be http://mardsmoddingsite.muffmeister.co.uk/

Muffmeister's a cool guy who really supports HaloCE (Custom Edition) and has a ton of maps for ya. Me fav is blockfort from mario kart 64, w00t! :D

I'll tell the rest of the bu waypointers to do this one. I'm currently busy inna rcbot svencoop waypointing frenzy! (lol, cheesh, you got me addicted to waypointing for coop) :D

I just finished the resident evil set.. n' now want to do the case closed coop campaign.. already started onnit.. seems pretty bot-friendly! this should be good! :)

Ack, sry I diddn't respond sooner, I'm on vaccation, so I've got no CS to waypoint.. could be a week or so man, I'll see if I have it anywhere handy, if now I'll link ya to one cause a week wait, and since scoutzknivez ain't a hard map to waypoint I'm sure anyone else's waypoints would be fine.

I may be switching sites again, depends if I can get a good layout from a bud, if not I may just keep my crappy layout or try to make it better with my uber-leet m$ frontpage skillz, lmao. Ok, hea's a link to one of the craziest waypoint packs we have, I'm sure good ol SoulFather waypointed (although not a fan of these types of maps) scoutzknivez. It has over 297 waypoints just scavenge through the pack n' use what you want man.
