YaPB server FPS problem

First, this problem occurs in the old YaPB 1, I did not test if it got fixed in YaPB 2
It occurs only in dedicated server, on a listen server its fine
There is a server command, sys_ticrate, that defines the FPS of the server, default is 100, if you have a nice pc and good internet you can increase it to lower lag. The problem is, that when I increase it to 1000, players in the server are happy because they feel less lag, but bots start to behave strange - they move very slow and they shoot around without aiming. I was wandering if there is a fix for this, because as it is now, I have to choose between having bots in my server or having low lag in my server.

Re: YaPB server FPS problem

Hi,

I applied a quick fix to the yapb1 about the msec calculation stuff (taken from podbotmm). Not sure if this works though, as sys_ticrate doesn't boost any fps on my computer (guess my computer is not fast enough).

please let me know if it works, and if it does work I'll put it into the full package :)

sorry for being late btw :)

I'm sorry, it still does the same. When I increase sys_ticrate, the bots start moving and aiming veeery slow. There is no change.

Re: YaPB server FPS problem

Sorry if I'm a Thread-Ghoul but I have the same issue with YaPB 2.

Currently I'm using Podbot mm on my Server but I would like to upgrade to YaPB 2!

The Podbots mm always stuck, they rarely make the objektives (bomb defuse, hostage rescue), and they often shoot into sky when an opponent appears... (I'm using the newest beta of podbot mm)

Please make a fix for the best bot for cs 1.6 I've ever seen! :(
