Hello - and a question for you

Hi! (very) long time no see!

Well; you might know RealBot is sourced at https://github.com/stefanhendriks/RealBot

And if you look closely you can see it has been updated.

Someone on twitter pointed out to me that POD had an update. (and also another bot?). I noticed RealBot still works with Metamod 1.19, but there seems to be some updated version of Metamod (1.20) and also an updated HL version?

Perhaps I should update RealBot so it works with 1.6 properly. (although I did a test and it worked fine). Hence, I made a little youtube video:

My question though:
Are people still using bots (like RealBot, or POD, etc) these days? Since we have other CS versions and they deliver bots built-in. (CS:GO for instance).

Just wondering!

Hope you're doing well!

Grtz,

Stefan

Yes, Stephen, I wrote to you on twitter and I'm sure a lot of people using bots, just this community seems to have been abandoned for a long time and not many people sitting here. because most bots do not work or have not been updated to the latest version of the engine.

well haven't been playing CS for ages, however I updated YaPB1 for Mac OS X support around last year (as Valve released HL1 client for GNU/Linux and OSX) :)

yeah awesome, you can play CS on Mac (I have one these days as well).

There are no statistics anywhere I suppose about servers still using RealBot (or POD, etc).
