FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace: Tried to write to an uninitialized sizebuf_t: ???
I haven't seen that error in a long time, I have bot protection on in Adminmod. Also have strange crash every few hours that leaves no errors to ponder over, the last line in the logs is half written, server just quits. Any clues? |
Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
The fatal error refers to an oversized cfg file. Try
-zone 8192 in the target line. |
Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
Oversized cfg file? Are you sure DreamLord, I haven't added anything to the config, in fact I've removed a lot of stuff.
I don't have access to the target line anyway, it's a rental. |
Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
If you were to do a search on google, that's what you will get, it means an oversized cfg. Can't help anymore then that though.

Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
Actually there are much more reasons than this one for a crash like this.
Does it crash in the middle of the game or when you start it ? Is it when you add a bot ? Also are bots allowed to leave/join randomly ? |
Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
It can happen at any time Pierre but more often than not it's a map change so it could be when a bot is added, I leave them to add/remove themselves.

Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
Server just changed to de_dust, 3 human players, 3 bots. Round started then 30 seconds later...

Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
Try disabling statsme if you have it.

Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
OK I'll let it run for a good few hours with it off.

Re: FATAL ERROR (shutting down): SZ_GetSpace:
yes, it's obvious but be sure to test if the crash happens when you run the bot DLL and only it (no other plugin).
