Knife Mode + YapB = Headache
 

So I heard that YapB was a great bot for knife/jason mode, and I download it and everything is going well, except for one little thing...

YapB doesn't use any knives! I mean, as soon as they pick up a gun they switch to it and start popping caps in my ass. I just wanna play a good zombie mode with great bots >.<

But other then that, I would say that YapB is great for kniving mode, because they act alot smarter then other bots would.

So if you have a solution to where the YapB just only uses knives and doesn't use anything else, please respond to this topic.

yea, thats a problem (yet), you can ban all weapons with yb_restrweapons,
use confcenter for that. weapons are banned with this variable are disallowed to pickup by bots in current version. that's the only way yet.

I tried restricting the weapons with confcenter but they still go back to pistols as soon as I kill them...

Well there are no solution in current version, i'll try to solve problems for next release. Sorry.

Did You try to use yapb menu -> Features -> Weapon Mode -> knives only?

On the map without pistols (awp_city) they were using knives very good. Seems even that works better in yapb than in pb mm ( :( ).

This won't help, since bots are smart, and will use good weapons instead of knives ;) :P

Actually i need to add one check in pickup weapons code...
