Bot go to pointed wp!

I would like a new feature in the wp editor.
I new command like “bot go to pointed out waypoint toggle”.
When on the bot’s destination is set to the wp that is currently selected (by pointing to it.)

What do you think of this command?
It would make testing out various paths easier.

Also, is there a map/wp included in the standard installer that is considered exceptionally well done? I would like to check out how a map was way pointed that is considered excellent, to help refresh my memory. Thanks!

I think your referring to the CT and T important or goal points.

I think one way paths is probably another thing your referring to.

Can you give a better example? because I don't really understand what your trying to get at.

I think in the fullpack You can find waypoints for standard maps they are done excellent by SoUlFaThEr with little fixes by T Wrecks. You can talk with Ancient at MSN/ICQ - he can just copy and paste for You all advices I gave him to understand the waypointing stuff. Read also the manual - especially about Advancing Waypointing - T Wrecks showed the most common stupid mistakes done by begginers during waypointing.

I thought austin was a waypointer :s

Anyway, I'm hardly ever on MSN; I'd rather communicate within the forum since I don't use it very often.

I am referring to a better / improved version of the command
pb debuggoal

To check out some setup of waypoints we have to type in
pb debuggoal waypoint#

I was thinking it would be cool to have a command, a toggle on/off
where when the command is on the pb debuggoal waypoint number is automatically set to the waypoint you point at (currently selected waypoint)
This way you could direct a bot around the map easily and quickly to check out your waypoints!

Re: Bot go to pointed wp!

Again - it will take more to re-write docs (yes - even in WP editor the waypointing section needs to be rewritten and new pictures of the new menu are necessary) to write it in the code. :(
I can add this to code - but You will add this to the docs. Agree? :)

Deal!
In fact I didn't even see anything about how to use wp debuggoal in the docs. I will replace evey menu image and write up how to use it.
Thanks!

Re: Bot go to pointed wp!

Because it wasn't yet in WP editor, so You couldn't see it in the waypointing section. But it is in the "Available settings (cvars) and commands" at the buttom of the page. You haven't read my docsV3 carefully. :(

What I MEANT to say is I didn't see anything in the wp doc on how to actually use it, implying that when I document the new command I will also document well how to use debuggoal and the new "point at go to" command!

=> Have to be exact when talking to developers!
Will do better from now on.
