How do I set Joebot up?

E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120\cstrike\joebot
has joebot.dll and cfg \chat \per \ wpjs

HlDS is in E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120

liblist.gam is in E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120\cstrike
in liblist.gam I have
gamedll "joebod/joebot.dll"

---------------------------
Fatal error - Dedicated server
---------------------------
Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from .\cstrike\joebod/joebot.dll!
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

when i run HLDS i get the above.

Can you help.

change gamedll "joebod/joebot.dll" to gamedll "joebot/joebot.dll"

Hi All,

Ok, here is my directory structure:-

root folder the one with the server in. HLDS
hlds.exe folder
\Joebot
\docs
\nntrainer
\rcon_commandmenu
\cstrike
\joebot
*.cfg
*.dll (joebot.dll and others)
*.br3
*.txt
personalities.exe
\chat
\per
\wpjs

\cstrike\liblist.gam has gamedll "joebot\joebot.dll" as in sample joebot liblist.game file

To keep it simple no metamod stuff in hlds.exe command line.
hlds.exe short cut is just E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120\hlds.exe
and the startup folder is E:\Games\SteamServer_v1120

error message for this setup is

Host_Error: Couldn't get DLL API from .\cstrike\joebot\joebot.dll!

OK
---------------------------

What version are you using? If you're using 1.6.5.2, see this thread:

Then redownload the .zip update. There was a .dll mixup.

Thanks for the info
I will have another try later.
I've now go ivPodBot working and Amx mod so things are looking up!
What is your view on the two bots JoeBot v IvPodBot?
