how to start a dedicated server

i want to teach my friend how to play CS. i set up a dedicated server but i couldn't get any bots to join. what do i need to get the bots to join, i read that u need some stuff to do it thanks :D

Well. I dont know much to this bot. But the most bots you need on a dedicated server. you need to install at you dedicated server folder in steam and not in your counter-strike.

BTW do you use metamod or any other mods?
