Podbot 2.5 DS commands?
OK, I've been hunting around the internet for about 3 days straight now without finding what I need. I have POD 2.5 running on a win 32 DS with Adminmod/Statsme/etc. It's running fine, I'm able to manually add the bots to the server form the HLDS console. The problem is, I have no control over the bots from my client because none of the bot commands work through admin/rcon. I've tried using the hacked .dll as well as one version of the podbot_mm.dll but I can't find a list of remote commands I can use. Can anyone help me out?
Perhaps I need to get another bot program? Maybe there's one out there with a metamod plugin already constructed? |
Re: Podbot 2.5 DS commands?
did you check out the "podbot back in to shape" thread in the metamod plugins forum?

Re: Podbot 2.5 DS commands?
Yes, and what a monster of a post it is! I found out a list of the commands on page 13, and they do work from the DS console. The problem is that I haven't been able to use them from my client, save for the "pb addbot" command. And then it'll only execute that command once and ignore the command if I try to enter it again. Maybe I need to reinstall everything?

Re: Podbot 2.5 DS commands?
Heyyo,
Are you sure you setup your admin/rcon correctly? Cause the hacked dll for podbot does work quite flawlessly btw. for pm's podbot_mm.dll, maybe also try stuff like pod addbot, n' what not. Cause for the hacked dll I think you needed to start off with pod.... |
Re: Podbot 2.5 DS commands?
Thanks for the responses! Oddly enough, when I attempted to execute the rcon commands today, they worked! I didn't alter any cfgs, set a new password and I'm sure I was typing in the same things as before. Perhaps it was because I reset the server? Anyway, the rcon commands work with the podbot_mm.dll file and for others' future reference, they are as follows:
pb addbot pb removebots pb killbots pb fillserver <team> |
