New filebase = no dowloads

The new filebase doesn't work. I cannot download any file from it. I have confirmed license agreement for Fullpack V3B19d and I've got the message "Forbidden..." and I got kicked back to the main filebase page. Can any admin fix that?

Seems to me like a chmod problem.

Sometimes during transfers files and folders will have their chmod properties changed to help keep the transfer secure. Maybe that is the issue?

not a general problem, just a problem with that file. test some other files, all of the about 20 i tested worked.

I have same problem. When I tried to download podbotmm v3b19q it says "Forbidden: You do not have permission to download this file..."

not a general problem, just a problem with that file. test some other files, all of the about 20 i tested worked. that file needs to be re-uploaded.

If I have re-upload my files - please make it so I'm ABLE to overwrite the file with he same (existing) name. I don't mind to change all links with filenames I'm pointing my files in filebase also at other boards...

Man - try to understand - we are even not able to browse the filebase. When I'm typing http://filebase.bots-united.com/
it says (like The Storm told You):
Not Extended

A mandatory extension policy in the request is not accepted by the server for this resource.

I believe it works only (and only) for You, because You are an admin. Everyone else is not even able to browse it now...
So - THIS IS a general problem now... :(

Browsing is back up, but there are still a few problems. The number of files in subdirectories are being reported as zero. That might discourage people looking in them.

Another thing is that any old links send you to the main page. Basically the old links used parameter "action=" while the new php is looking for parameter "act="

And finally 4 of 7 files in the FritzBot filebase have file-permission problems.

Nothing critical right now but I would like to know if I should go and edit all the old links in the wiki or should I wait and see if parameter "action=" will be supported.

Those above are the most important I cannot download. Like TomTom said - it's concerning the license the user has to confirm before downloading the file. If there is no any requirement to confirm something - the file can be downloaded.

Fritz Bot ET Waypoint Packs
and
Fritz BETA

Files are

id=433 Fritz1_1.00.zip and
id=445 Fritz2_1.00.zip)

I will try to find time for the wiki and other links on the net later in the week.

file permission problem fixed. few files for some reason escaped my chmod ... all good now. (goes for KWo's files as well as for yours.)

After all that now the 510 errors are back! Is the system doing some sort of restore of previous settings when you go to bed? Every link above (all 15) and the root are 510 NOT EXTENDED now.

Its time we get out the penguin gun...

@Sebastian - my suggestion - go back to the old filebase (the look and the functionality) since nobody has time to figure out where the problem is with the new one. I don't care if the old one wasn't so much safe nor up to date. But it had one big advantage above the new one - it was working (which is for me the most important thing).

Why not create one?
It shouldn't take long, especially since the MySQL will tell what the structure should be like and all the functionalities will be similar. However, the simpilier things are the harder it is to get into.

Since couple of days the filebase seems for me to be working al the time (whenever I'm trying to browse it doesn't say anymore "Not Extended bla bla bla"). Either Nova finally fixed the problem or he just implemented the script to restart the web server every few hours (I have asked him to add that temporary fix). If anyone needs to add any file to the filebase or just edit an existent one - just please contact me. Currently I'm the only one (except Nova and Onno) who can upload any file to the filebase.

No. Now even me - I cannot login to the filebase. :D
I've started the procedure with reset password stuff, but I don't know yet if it will work. I'm waiting for an email from bu filebase with the procedure what to do.
