i need help
 

hey. I downloaded pod bots 2,5 and thought that I could go into cs 1,6 and just type /bod_add but it didn't work so one of my friends told me to look here to find help. What i need is an easy step by step guide for a to things like that

i hope you pros can help me out :clap:

Th eold podbot 2.5 doesn't work with CS1.6. Here is the forum of podbot mm (metamod version of podbot 2.5 with new extensions of the functionality). I will not explain You how You should install it. I wrote some sticky topic about that - so please, fnd and read it first before posting, otherwise You will get ignored. :nono:

The easiest way for beginners is - install All-In-One. It includes podbot mm, AMX X and metamod. You just need to unzip everything into Your 'cstrike' folder (that one You have there Your liblist.gam and config.cfg files) and let overwrite all files. If it will not work for You I have no idea what might be easier...

Well edit your podbot.cfg and make sure you have pb_min/max bots edited correctly. Than use the command amx_pbmenu
If you want to add more bots use amx_rcon pb_maxbots "number" to edit the maximum bots if more players join. Than use amx_pbmenu to add more bots.

Haha again it seems you havent read http://podbotmm.bots-united.com/doc_v3/index.html at least read available settings and usage part. Or even the podbot.cfg! Its all addressed there when i say read it I dont mean click it exit it and post another question :). Really read it! After you read that I would be glad to help you as much as I can.

Yes the all or most bot information are in the documents.
The Navigation around the documents were made easier so you can create direct links to a specific part of a document page.

when i try to play with my new bots its sometimes go out of the game and say: fatal error net_sendpacket ERROR: no error. What can i do to make that stop?

write in the console:
meta list
and show me the output. I don't know what do You mean by "Your new bots"?

So it means You don't have podbot mm there nor metamod. So - You need to find another forum to solve Your problem.

Nothing happens because You are not using metamod anymore. You started to use another non-metamod bot, so that's why You need to go somewhere else for the help for that bot.

This is podbot mm forum. This IS NOT podbot 2.5 forum.
Install this (just uznip everything into Your main cstrike folder - let overwrite all files) and podbot mm v3 should start work for You.

If Your output of "meta list" says nothing it means it IS NOT installed or You did it incorrectly. You are talking about the listenserver or about the dedicated server?

It's a listenserver then. All You need to do is unzip everything (from All-In-One package) into counter-strike\cstrike folder. You may need to check of the properties of launching the game if it doesn't call anything else then liblist.gam provided with All-In-One.

okay unzipted into cstrike folder and now it works :thumbup: where can i find other maps to the bots? like fy_ maps and stuff

okay i got the little problem net_sendpacket ERROR: NO ERROR? it just close counter strike and say that
