running two or more bots at the same time

Hi I have Counter STrike 1.6 and I want to know if I can run two or more bots at the same time. Like maybe podbotmm and YaPB at the same time or other bots at the same time?

Just install podbot mm (with a fullpack, then upate the binaries) then use yapb installer from here http://forums.bots-united.com/showthread.php?t=5599 . That's easy. :) You will be really disapointed becasue yapb owns podbot mm currently. I hope I'll be able change this a bit during 2 weeks. ;)

is that the latest version of YaPB? Can I use the latest version? what's the updater do? it's in russian, I don't understand it

Can I just download v2.30 and install it along with podbot?

Yes.

The updater installs the latest version of YaPB :P If you want to use a beta version of YaPB ask Strelomet for beta password.

The metamod plugins should have amx mod x yapb and podbot mm running.

Just be more smart and change the language - there is the possibility to use Russian (default for some reason) and English. Do You really want to ask us even to show which button You should press to change that language??? If You have some troubles with yapb installer, go to yapb forum and ask strelomet about that. You can also request the default language as the English one...

See the image that I posted? It says options bottom left, click it and there will be the word russian in a drop down box and english is not highlighted, you must highlight it and restart the application.

Speak with strelomet and THE_STORM. I don't know what is the format of epb waypoints. Maybe is even the same as yapb - so maybe You can use the same converter to use with epb. But I'm not sure of this.

ePodbot is only harder because it's waypointed differently, like when on de_dust the tunnel that goes out by the Bomb area they jump out of there.

Thats the only thing that I really found different, that waypoint styles are different :P

If their may be a convertor out there I'll probably use it.
But until then I'll probably venture into trying to waypoint epod's.

Sorry, i haven't seen this thread before :(

I don't know why updater tool doesn't shows english language, default language is english.

Problems with dedicated server will be fixed, i'm not test bot on dedicated server very much, maybe time come. :)

I guess you running Windows 2000 ?

Try to apply this registry fix (to fix russian language issue):

yesterday, I played a wonderful match with just 2 humans players and the bots.

I used epb and pbmm and they worked wonderfully. Though me and my buddy came out on top on both of our teams, it was still fun to play. We played on de_dust2 with war3ft and my custom waypoints (which work really well).

A problem I saw was that sometimes, when the bots have out a grenade, they don't throw it right away, especially when there is an enemy right in front of them. Also, they did not use flashbangs and smokebombs too much. I would like them to use flashbangs more, that'll be better. It would also be better if they see a flashbang, they try to turn away. Also, they didn't use snipers as much as I wanted (I should look at the weapons setups)

Other than that, the bots played really well. It was a very humanlike match. Even my friend, who normally really hates playing with bots(because bots are not humanlike) liked playing on my server yesterday

yes I now know why they don't use snipers as much. Their sniper weapon priorities aren't that high. KWo, how do the bots pick weapons? if the bot has $10000 and his first priority is ak47 and the second is AWP, does he always pick the ak47 over the AWP?

please disregard what i said about epb and pbmm working at the same time because it turns out that only pb bots were added and filled the server and no epb bots were playing. this time i have to try it out. I have to remove fillserver and put in the add commands.

i'll tell you when i'm done if epb is compatible with pbmm.

epodbot is harder than pbmm no dought, but I do have a question about the epod waypoints.

Are the epod camp waypoints the same as YaPB waypoints?
I'm an idiot when it comes to other bots. :'(

i meant that i didn't really try out epb with pbmm. I thought I did, but it turns out I didn't because I didn't add any epb bots. I'll try it next time. Because I didn't try epb with pbmm, i don't know which is harder.
