cfegames as BU waypoint site?
 

Waypoints are normally filled within a week, basicly waypoints are done in a timely manner.

Right now the cfegames only supports 2 types of waypoints, YaPB and Podbot mm.

By the time this poll is completed the website will have it's 100th waypointed map uploaded.

Soon I am going to have a search function and a broken link form (Maybe, maybe not a form) available.

Yea I was thinking about that, currently I'm working on RCBot waypoints for battlegrounds and some cstrike waypoints for yapb and pbmm.

It's alot of work for 1 person to do at the same time.

Other people can always submit their waypoints to be looked over and be put on the website :)

Added Rate and Review so people can rate and review the maps that they've downloaded.
Also Ad's have been placed.

If BU has a better ad than the one I made, I'll be more than happy to replace it.

The link of Waypoints page is still broken even if thsi poll was validated almost 2 years ago and it should be re-directed at cfe.games.
Any chance to finally do it?

well this isn't against Ancient, but I think the downloads of cracked proprietary software (like the Zend Studio) should be removed there before do the redirection...

Actually not really. Not that i do not like the idea of a waypoint site, but linking outside BU is kind of odd for Bots-United. We have the space, we have our own sub-domains, so why use an external source?

If CFEGames ever stops, while BU is alive, we'll have a broken and lost source of waypoints.

I'd say, get the waypoint site to our domain instead ;)

Well, thats true. It does take alot of effort to keep a website. I can't guarentee that CFEGames will be up forever, however, if it won't, I'll be glad to send you all the data you require if you wish. There are currently 5 GB of data at CFEGames. I can tell you now, that CFEGames won't go down for the next 6 months - a year. If it is manditory, I suppose I could retain the standalone status according to your wishes.

Meh. You guys figure this out :D I really dont mind either way. Im happy with this arrangement, but ill do whatever is necessary for any other soultion that meets the public optinion.

I'd say lets keep it this way, but as long as we can guarentee some contuinity for the waypoint site (like Ancient proposed, to give his data whenever CFEGames goes down anyway), we could keep it like this.

Apologies for resurrecting this thread

When I checked today cfegames.com appears to have been taken over / re-purposed. Owner registration lists a Norfolk Va address so it may be in a new owners hands (not sure).

If it is a permanent change I'll look for another spot to put my pre-beta grade Fritzbot ET Waypoints
