For testing purposes was released version 2.10, that will be downloaded, installed and updated via special program.

Please read messages program shows you or, you will be forced to redownload stuff again!!!

I like the new update installer. I'm just use to the regular installer. The bots this time stay and don't leave. But the only problem I have is "YaPB Skill Level" for "Fill Server" is missing. I have this new version a Yep, because you've been working so hard.

I was trying to use YaPB Legacy (Old Version), but with no luck. The only bot program that works with Counter-Strike 1: Anthology is, YaPB v2. If we could add all the waypoints from the old version of YaPB. But I'm not sure though, they maybe too old. Also, fix the one problem about "YaPB Skill Level" for "Fill Server" being missing. I should be happy. Then we can work from there.

About a waypoints. No. Sorry. With my stupid modem, i'm unable to do so :) But in future all waypoints will be avaialable through updater. :)
Note: I will fix problem with skill in fill-server as soon as i'm finish my university exams...

"What do you mean by the double jump waypointing?", It's not a waypointing. DoubleJump is just a name of this function, since you first jump on to bot, and only than to place you want :). And yes adding bot-to-bot doublejump support, will require changing waypoints a little bit.

Very cool updater. All that needs to be done is adding the english language. For some reason the updater appears with a lot of ???. Keep up the good work though.

:) Yes! Very cool updater. I've been getting use to it now. I get the "???" too. I know strelomet will be able to make an english version of the updater. The only problem I have right now. Is that I have to have the updater on my desktop to use it. I made a "Bot Programs" folder in "My Documents". Put the updater in that folder, and I get a HTTP error. It's a very long error message.

Fatal Error! - "CHttpClient::ReadSysConfig (): Unable to read remote configuration file. (Error Code: 0x317, Error 12029 occured.)

Post screenshot please. I don't get such errors (and by default, it's english), you must choose language on the first startup...

Error is appeared when server is busy. Try in 2-3 minutes again, and all will be fine.

Ok, here are my Counter-Strike maps (that came with CS1: Anthology), that need waypoints. Most of them are cs_ maps:

as_oilrig
cs_747
cs_assault
cs_backalley
cs_estate
cs_havana
cs_italy
cs_militia
cs_office
cs_siege
de_chateau
de_prodigy (there is a waypoint, but for Condition Zero)

Those maps and cs1.6 should be the same, so the same waypoints should also work for both games.

I'm now using the YaPB v2.20, for as_oilrig and most of the cs_ maps. Those maps don't have waypoints that came with YaPB v2.20. I don't think strelomet wanted me to post about version 2.20 yet.

The zip was created in WinZip 10 Pro Available at link removed under utilities.

And would you please not use proprietary (?) formats which is not available without having to install something specific (such as RAR or "strange" zip files which are not openable with other zip tools)? LOL, right when I was getting ready to post. I took your link into thought, I was able to extract the files. Sorry about this Ancient, I feel really stupid. I thought WinRAR would be able to extract them. I now have both WinRAR and WinZIP running on my PC.

I was also able to extract another archive, from another site. I was have trouble once again with WinRAR. I guess I'm not the only one that enjoys free proggies. ;)

Ok, sorry to keep typing a lot. But I'm now using the waypoint's Ancient posted about. I'm playing (with YaPB v2.20), as_oilrig, and having trouble. I'm spectating the game. I've been watching the Counter-Terrorist. The spot on the map, that has a floor lift. The CT's just stand on it, looking up. They won't press the switch to take them up.

Do we need waypoints that were designed for YaPB v2.20?

@R99i: All waypoints for all versions of YaPB is same... You can use any waypoints from any podbot-like bot (except podbot-mm, that require conversion (see YaPB section in Filebase)). There is no reason to find new waypoints to every new version of YaPB.

Lift problem is known, i'll fix that.

I'm going to try to get this out the best way I can. I'm starting new with YaPB. I'm using the updater to fresh start installing YaPB. I'm not using the installer for YaPB 2.05. I'm letting the updater do all the work. The problem is, when installing for updater to YaPB 2.20. There is no waypoints for all cs_ maps, or as_oilrig. I thank Ancient for posting the waypoints I don't have. But they don't work right.

On cs_italy, all terrorist just stay in the hostage building every round. as_oilrig, the CTs all stay on the floor lift, and don't press the switch. But I'm understanding about the problems with YaPB and POD-bot-mm.

Podbot mm and yapb stuff are different in ways, podbot mm they auto-look for buttons etc... (I think, I know I read it somewhere).

Also, I do have original YaPB cs and as map waypoints from an older installation.

I still don't know what double jump means.

Is the updater coming pretty well strelomet? I've noticed one little problem. It's not with the updater, I don't think. No bots get kicked, but the rest stay spectator. I create a 25 player game. I make it a odd number so the teams will stay even, with me watching them play. But the highest the bots get with a 25 player game is, 20. 10 vs. 10. The rest of the bots, which is 4, stay spectating. I hope I pointed this out well.

Thanks for the reply THE_STORM. We've been having trouble with bots joining, then being kicked automatically. I hope strelomet is doing ok. Nothing wrong with taking a little break from YaPB. I just can't wait for the program to be fully done.... lol... but we'll always incounter problems.

Well if you have problems with that just turn off the auto adding function of YaPB and put the bots manualy. ;)

I know that the beta version of YaPB version 2.20 doesn't have any auto adding bots when starting Counter-Strike. I have to put the bots in manually. strelomet understands the problem with adding bots, than they get kicked. This could still be a problem with adding bots manually. I have a 24 max player server, and only get 20 bots.

Oh :( Well updater fixed, and will be here i think tomorrow, i'm a bit busy this days.... About auto-adding function in 2.20, it's not working because of beta. In final release all back to their places...

Also fillserver stuff is working almost perfect for me, one-two minor fixes and all will be done :)

Added by fillserver? Check the yb_quota value in console, is it incrementing every time bot adding ?

"Double Jump" = "yapb menu" -> "menuselect 2" -> "menuselect 5" -> "menuselect 1" - It's a so-called double jump, but currently bots can help only people. :)

I believe your right. The updater won't install the waypoints. Because when I download 2.20 from the updater. It will only download about 300K. From what the updater says, there is about 1300K to download, but it never does it.

Updater install waypoints only once. At first download of package (thats download about 1.300 KB). After this all updates contains only changed files, and maybe some more waypoints for you. So next update require max. 500 KB.
