Thank you, Waypoints needed.

First off I would like to thank bots-united and everyone who works on this site, for all of you time and effort put into making this information available. You have refired my interest in computers and gaming in general. Your tutorials and forums have been super informative and have helped me every step of the way. I saw in some of the threads, you asked people to post maps they'd like waypoints for. I have a few I'd like to see waypoints for if possible. The maps can be gathered at www.csm2.net. One is called jurassic park, another is de_pacman I believe it's a pacman level everythings blue, the last one is walmart.

Here's the links
de_walmart

de_pacman

Jurassic Park
http://www.csm2.net/view_map.php?map_id=1535

80'sclub

I think these maps would be fun to play with bots as much as it is with real people. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated. Once again thank you for all the help you given me so far. :donatello:

Ok, I'm officially retarded, they provide waypoints on the website, have you tried any of these from there? How good are they?

Yeah I actually think the the waypoints for walmart were made by me or soulfather. I will get to work on waypointing these maps as soon as I am done with this other guys pack. Seeing as how I have no help anymore I will try to get them done as fast as I can't but there are no garentees

[EDIT]
Turns out that the last map in that guys request wasn't bot compatiable so i will get on your pack ASAP
[/EDIT]

Thank you. I tried to do that pacman one myself, it didn't turn out too well. I'll keep trying and let you know what I come up with. The hardest one I believe will be jurassic park.

Would you mind seeing if these two are possible to way point as well. Check out the starwars map, you can use the gun turrets.

Here's a batcave one too.

You're in luck, I did the batcave one awhile back.. let me dig it up...

[EDIT]
Yeah I knew I did this map before. Here is a 50 pack me and T>Wrecks did awhile back
http://filebase.bots-united.com/inde...on=file&id=191
lots of good maps we waypointed, batcave is in there, you might consider checking out some of the other maps too.

Oh and one more thing, on the Jerrasic Park map you can't rescue the big dinasour hostage out front. He won't jump over the ledge for some reason. I will still waypoint the map but just letting you know you either have to kill all the T's or kill that one hostage and rescue the rest.

Hehehe... nice to see you took over so well, Jake. Seems like you recovered well from your accident. I sure hope so. :)

I'm sorry that I haven't been around like I used to, but for me the fun is sort of gone. In the end, no good new custom maps came for CS 1.6, and I never cared for those fy_, he_, pacman, hamster, rats, knife arena and Lego stuff. I can only motivate myself when I like the stuff I'm doing something for.

Since 99% of the map-making and custom stuff community has turned to HL2 mods, I had become rather superfluous...
Plus, my friends have also moved to CS:S, and they even gave me HL2 as a birthday present so I would be forced to install Steam again and hopefully give CS:S a try... well, I played some HL2 (quite ok, impressive gfx and physics engine, otherwise a tad one-dimensional), then stopped for a while, and when we wanted to try things out, Steam fried itself in an update, and I decided to dump all that crap once and forever. Three chances is enough.

Then, I got SimCity 4 + the Rush Hour addon, and you wouldn't believe how much these crazy people have modded that game. I'm very active in that community now, both on a German site and on the largest SC4 fansite, based in Canada. In fact, I won 2 awards for my modding / customization efforts there last year, so you can really say I've found a new playground. :P

It's really nice to see that some of the good folks are still here... gotta go check out the off-topic area right now to see if I can read a post by PMB or the other hardcore lunatics here... ;)

:crying: ... Ah man, this sucks. You were my teacher man, I hate to see you go. I am not sure if I can do all these waypoints alone man. It's not like I have tons of fun doing them. Infact I hate most of the maps I waypoint but I do it anyways. I understand where your coming from but... you can't leave, I mean your T Wrecks for crying out loud. Who else is gonna send me drunken PM's and make fun of my spelling. I am glad you're having fun though.

Re: Thank you, Waypoints needed.

I don't want you to feel obligated to waypoint maps for me. I thought you enjoyed doing it. I mostly just want the jurassic park map waypointed if you can get that to me I'd greatly appreciate it, you sounded close to completing it from your previous post.
