Can Realbot Bots Kills Be Logged In Statsme Usin AMX?
 

Hey ya people! Realbot is gettin better an better as time goes by, especially now this none waypoint system is being introduced. Anyway, cut to the chase. Is there anyway that u can get the realbot bots to be logged in the statsme plugin built into AMX MOD, cos it seems to log real players but not bots at the mo in /top15.

If u can, can u pls give a detailed description of how to do it cos this 1's got me baffled! ???:( i've checked out quite a few sites includin amx and they don't have any info on it, only for admin mod. but thats not what im lookin for.

Any help would be class guys and big up to realbot and all its creaters for a job well done so far!

Stats me doesn't recognize each bot like one player, but all the bot as one. Because, each bot have the same number, so it's the same player...

what do you mean with 'number' fiber optic? If you mean IP i can't change it (i think?) without disabling the bots :) Anyway, if its some other number then i might be able to change this?

If this helps.....
PsychoStats (http://www.psychostats.com/) is able to record read Bots as individuals from the Log file. This may not help, as I think StatsMe uses live data and not the log files to generate the top15.

I don't know well what this number means and how it is created by the server. I thought, the 1st player of the day get #1, 2nd #2, and so on...
But this isn't the case for the bot. I haven't tried this for a long time now.

If you want to see what I mean, just tape "stat" (or "stats"??) in the console. It will give you the numbers, the same which are used to kick someone. I don't know if you can change it or not... what do you think Stefan?

does that mean u can't then? or could this be a possible update to the next installment in realbot? :D Cos I think it would make playin bots a bit more interestin to play against if all the players includin the bots were fightin for the top spot in the /top15 rank list. Keep up the good work guys!

Ok then perfect how did u do it? how did u get /top15 to recognise the bots as individuals and score them? dont tease me by showin me :(

I didn't do anything, it just worked. It takes a few kills for the server to start recognizing the scores, but it did work for me after about 3 rounds (so about 5+ kills or so, I think). I'm using StatsX 0.9.8a1, which you can get at:

I haven't used Statsme, so I couldn't say whether or not that will work, but I do know that stats must be able to work if the one on my machine does. If you have problems with it, try using meanmod with the mm_botlogfix on.

K m8 cheers. Will give that a blast tomorrow. =) Will report back when tested. By the way ur /top15 screen looks a lot better laid out as well compared to mine! 8o

You need to change the "sm_storebyauth" to "0" in "statsme.cfg". Works fine for me.

Thx perfect works a treat in the loggin part for the bots :D . I do have 2 questions for u though. Do u know how ur page is bigger on top15 screen and how to change it to display all the info all at the same time? cos mines got 2 scroll bars on and it looks pants :( ! The other is that in my top15 screen I have a person who hasn't even played just spectated and got into the top15 at number 5 with stats of 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 but theres others below him that have kills - i don't quite understand that! ???:(

It depends on how the stats are sorted. I think StatsX does a combination of Kills + Efficiency. It's kind of weird since a friend of mine had less kills than the 3rd place player, but a 5% better efficiency. Try reading the .sma file in \examples to see if there's any options available for choosing how the game logs your stats.

Cool I just wondered thats all. Just seemed weird that somebody with nothing in the stats had got onto the board in such a high place. =) But Do u know how to change the layout on the top15 screen because mine has these rather annoyin scroll bars u have to use to view all of the stats. And on ur picture it seems as though yours fits all onto 1 screen. Did u do anything to the sma script for it do be able to do that at all? Or do u know how to alter it m8? ???:(

I don't use statsme. I got a plugin called StatsX that replaces the default stats.amx in your \plugins folder. I believe I posted a link in the first reply to this thread.
