I need by a private CVS in BU
 

Hi all,

PMB told me to post a tread about CVS here.
So I need by a private CVS for me and Markus here in Bots-United. We will work togeder on E[POD]bot so we need by a private CVS.

Yea it is time some server Admin to look at this tread and to create one private CVS for us.

Normally you could have created the repository yourself using the SSH login shell you've been given at the Bots-United server. But perhaps you don't know the UNIX commands well, so I've created one for you (named "epodbot").

Search the forums for threads relevant to CVS, the use of a CVS client has been explained at least twice or three times. :)

OK, I found the cvs and can get at least a connection. But username / password of the forum won't work for the cvs. Which account have I to use (I don't have an account for the bots-united.com server yet)?

But Markus have a problem with the login. Maybe he need by the my shell password but I think that you can give him a accecs without the shell password(more secure for BU)? Can you do this for us? He need only by accecs for the CVS.

I don't need access to bots-united. I just want access to the cvs.

It all goes together. If you want access to the CVS, either you use the shell login/password THE_STORM has been given, or we can create an UNIX account for you. There's no services "à la carte", it's an automated script that creates and deletes BU server users.

So if you want an UNIX account on our server, PM me the username and password you want, and I'll set it up for you. :)
