help needed for tfc
 

Hi, I had installed the metamod and hpb bot 4. Everything run normal, except that i cannot join any team. bots are able to join but not me. May i know how to solve this problem? ???:(

Does this effect/ prevent me from selecting a team?

meta-interface version mismatch (metamod: 5:12, HPB_Bot: 5:10)

Normally not. What happens on your screen ? Is it that the MOTD doesn't show up ? Or that when you click the MOTD, the team selection screen doesn't come up ? Or that no matter what you click, you can't spawn ?

I am stuck the at team selection part after i join the game. Regardless what selection i made, i will return back to the team selection part :'(

9_9 are you sure the team quotas aren't set and you added too many bots ? I bet all the teams' slots are full already.

Nope, I use the default 6 bots. Regardless what number i set the team quotas (8 or 20). I still cannot join the game :(

Perhaps a Steam update broke stuff again. If you don't add any bots at all, can you join the game ?

when i remove the bots, still cannot join. But previously after i install the metamod, i try it out, it was successfull

Then the HPB_bot for TFC is broken until a programmer fixes it.

Same problem here, I think.
But actually it's not HPB_bot, I got the problem with simply metamod.
Without it, tfc works fine, but when I try using metamod, I can't join any teams, but the bots can, IF I put in some.
It's a strange and annoying problem, help! :(

i dont have dedicated server but it say it couldn't detect the metamod. I m trying to get tfc bots to work
