OK guys - updated guide.
The cmd "action_forever" is incorrect - its actually "action_active". My bad. Also, a bug fix: if your teammates picked up a dropped OBJ, the goal tracker is mistakenly incrementing. This is fixed now, and a new DL link will be posted. |

Another patch up!
This fixes the bug of non-eng teammates jumping on the dynamite, thinking they can somehow defuse it! :P Hopefully now that you guys are focusing on the paths, I can now focus on the AI again and get more frequent updates out, instead of this once every 3 months nonsense. :D |

Another patch - which ever team that had the docs, the bots on that team would cluster around the deliever action and ignore any other actions you set.
Thats fixed - the carrier will ALWAYS just run for the deliver action, but its teammates can now camp, roam, etc just like normal. |

A small patch - fixes minor disarming dynamite issue.

This one adds the "action_ent" console cmd so that you can change an actions entity number. Updated the guide to reflect this new cmd. |

Thanks for the offer of beta testing, but at the moment, I'm still working out the bugs in the path system, that the waypointers are finding. I'm also adding new features as they need them. Thats what all these small patches are about. Theres a lot to do yet, before they're ready, and the AI is ready, thats why I figured it will take probably 3-4 weeks. I'm glad your excited to see the next Fritzbot - I'm excited too! :D Get the word out - FritzBot is coming. :) Cheers! |

Another patch up - this fixes several movement issues that were seen on MP_CASTLE and TE_FROSTBITE. CrapShoot: they should work fine on any custom map now, check it out and let me know for sure. Also solves a problem teammates were having when they visit an enemy dynamite. Plus a couple other small fixes I can't remember ATM. :D |

New patch up!
This one adds a new conditional to the script system: letting you modify the script based on whether or not the obj was taken, or returned. READ the info in the guide VERY carefully and make sure you understand it - its very specific. ALSO - there is a new cvar: "bot_nightmare" <0/1> By default this is 0. If you set this to 1, no matter what skill setting the bot is at, they will be extra deadly with their aim (WITHOUT being aim bots - or so I hope, you guys need to test this and let me know if its too much). This overrides the normal aiming skill of each bot skill (i.e. you could have stupid skill 1 bots who shoot like pros). Play with it and let me know what you think. Cheers! |

okay, so i am having major CPU problems right now, so i think it's best to let somebody else take over the four maps i wanted to do and just work on customs once i get this worked out with my computer. i don't want to hold things up and it could be well over a month until this is fixed. so mp_assault, mp_base, mp_chateau & mp_depot are up for grabs. i know they're in good hands. this couldn't have happened at a worse time. my apologies.:(

That's alright Ghost, i mean it's beyond you're control. What kind of CPU troubles are you having, like overheating? Maybe i could offer some assistance.
In any case, i'll take mp_depot and mp_chateau. I'll wait until last to do these just in case you get stuff working early and want to waypoint those maps or whatever. Keep us informed on any new developments and future maps you're waypointing or whatnot, and i hope you get that CPU thing all settled. @Mal I'll give it a look through and let you know what i think. I say even if that setting is too extreme, i mean it's optional so i say keep it in there for those real hardcore players. I mean i like a good match with extremely tough bots from time to time myself. :D |

I forgot to put in the guide that the "if_obj_home_true/false" needs to have the action num following it, just like the flag owner does. i.e. if_obj_home_true 15 <- the action num 15 HAS to be a steal action! My bad. |

LOTS of fixes, additions, etc. Bots wont chase enemies that are far away now, understand to attack medics - instead of just revived enemies who are invulernable, the stupid jumping should be fixed now - no matter the map or circumstance (let me know if otherwise CrapShoot) a load of other fixes/improvements I've forgotten, new features and some new bugs too! :P Guide updated too, with the new info at the very end. new patch up!
You can now make an action active_forever, then turn it off/on in the script as needed, and the game remembers and handles it correctly! Lts drop 1 ammo pack when die (shrub feature I liked). Bots know how to fight underwater can drop health/ammo underwater (another shrub-ish feature) bots try not to jump into sub pen on MP_SUB (this isn't 100%, but its better than was). CP support finished - start working on CP maps when ready. Flag actions need to have the ACTION_FLAG value set and the flags entity number - ACTION_SPAWNFLAG is only for forward spawn flags!! tweaked addbot. various combat fixes and improvemnts. Should be stronger and tougher. Various menu improvements, credits added, bot_nightmare added, bot_skill fixed. various UI fixes. extract the file over all files in your fritzbot dir. Dont erase your fritzbot folder, this isn't a total install, just a patch. |

No additional cmds, just set the allied/axis objs to action_flag. |
