My name is "Player" on CS 1.6 which is embarassing. :o
And i really need a good CS name that would sound cool.

I really need some ideas from you guys. Please NO offensive names.

And Bala, don't you think your nick ought to represent your personality and thus be a product of your taste and your imagination? ;)

I'd never accept a nick someone just suggests to me, unless it would be a nick by which I get called by many people. But as soon as this is the case, it does have something to do with my personality because several people really identify me with it.

If someone would dub you "1337 Pete", that would be everything but a nick that's in any way connected to you.

Got no imagination? Play less CS, man... :D

Well, don't just mumble some complaints, guys... tell him straight forward what's wrong.

Bala: When you reply in a thread (like here) and then get another idea you want to add, please use the "edit" button (located in the bottom right corner of your reply window), so that you can put the text into your existing reply instead of opening a new one. You can mark the added text with "EDIT:" or "P.S." or whatever you like if you want to make clear that you added that part later.

Double posting (or what you did, triple posting) for no reason is considered very impolited and won't make you friends here, ok? Just so you know...

Back to topic: The names of bots are generally made by either the bot coder himself or by some guy who helps out in the development of the bot, but in fact anybody can give his bots the names he likes. I, for example, didn't use the standard names that came with PODBot mm; I gave my bots some names on my own instead.

Luggable computers are the precursor to laptops. I'm not old enough to have used one, but I have read about them on the internet. Some were like suitcases, and one even had a printer built into it. They weighed a lot, and they also didn't really have batteries.

Spamming like that is ridiculous, Bala. There's nothing to win by increasing your posts count either. Moderators are supposed to be patient but this is definitely a form of abuse, and you know it. Don't do it again.

oh well, he didn't ruin anything... He was problably just depressed of his postcount, and thought that some powerposting could enlarge his e-wang ;)

I think i made 5 posts in a row at the first forum i joined... that's about 6 years ago though, so i tend to believe that I've grown wiser by then.

Net-etiquette isn't natural, it's something you learn by trial and error.
