Discussion: Nipper Waypoint Pack

This Thread is for the Nipper Waypoint Pack thread. The reason I am opening this thread and closing the main one is mostly because I want to keep things nice and neat in the Release thread so people can find the waypoint packs quickly and easily. If you have questions, comments or maybe a map you would like to see added onto the pack let me know here! :) I will also update here when a pack is released.

hmm bio, please avoid as much as possible to have 3 threads in the same forum for discussing the same thing. That would be nice, thankyou :)

He sure knows how to pimp his stuff, eh? :D But yeah, I thought the same when I saw this third thread...

First the sig, then the threads... I think we got a little expansionist here. ;)

Heyyo,

yeah, remember bio, we've gotta keep these forums not only moderated, but clean. Just try to keep it to 1 thread a discussion. Also, if you don't want many-a-posts between your releases, just say "hey I uploaded another release, check 1st post" and constantly update that on releases, works great for Cheesh and his RCbot. ;)

Re: Discussion: Nipper Waypoint Pack

Yup, and remember you can also change the thread title as you update, so you could add update numbers right in the title. And a "check first post" reply would also set a new time stamp so that everybody sees there's something going on.

Heyyo,

Ah, I understand aboot those finals man, but lack of interest in the waypoint packs? that's not a very good reason for you to stop. Me? I LOVED RCbot's support for SvenCoop, so I waypointed the whole campaign, so far, only 51 people have downloaded it. That's not a lot, and I put a helluva lot of effort into them. The newest PODbot mm beta dll has already gotten over 2305! which's crazy numbers of people! sPlOrYgOn must have a big ego knowing others praise his work, lol. :P But remember, I made that waypoint pack cause I liked it, just cause others don't see it the same way, that's no reason to stop dude. If others don't like those maps? so what, let them stick with their default maps, we're here to give them variety, and if they don't want that then it's their own fault.
So yeah, continue it next year, just remember, sure, we do waypoints for others, but sometimes? you just have to waypoint it outta self-happyness. ;)

Re: Discussion: Nipper Waypoint Pack

That's nothing... you ought to see the quadruple posts in some of my threads, muhahaha! 8D

Seriously: When a certain time has passed, you can no longer edit your posts. And even if you edit them, this will not set a new time stamp, so if you want to make sure that people see there's something new to read, there's no way but to doublepost. As long as there's a certain amount of time inbetween the two posts, and the second post adds something relevant, there's no problem with double posts. But if you post "I got a problem" at 11:46 and reply to your own post with nothing more than "Help plz" at 11:53, you're in for a comment from a moddie... ;)

yeah if you notice that the post are over a 12 hours apart... and if i edit it no one will know that i changed something unless i create a new post

Re: Discussion: Nipper Waypoint Pack

Too bad this thread is too old. The links don't work, and this was the last place I could hope to find waypoints for the "laser_tron" level. :( If anyone knows or has a copy of it (standard waypoints that work with PODbot) please send it my way.

Also, has anyone else noticed that the "Waypoints" link up top in the blue bar doesn't work anymore?

Ah, haha. Disreguard that. Like a typical noob, I neglected to read up on the forums.
Sorry to hear about the crash.
