No mapping community yet? anyways...
 

Im not necessarily the best mapper, but i get my spurts. And i would not mind seeing some more advanced examples to make better ones (i cant seem to figure out how to make cs work the way i wont.) and how do i setup Valve Hammer Editor for 1.6? (and maby someone should make a gamefile that plugs into Valve Editor to map specially for bots?)

Hi :)

now I am here.........and i dont know a damn thing about CS 1.6 or its mapping problems.......so i may be only helpful in the opinion and realism and the "how to" area of the developement of a map.

in other words......i cant help much :)

ich hab sogar nach Brainwash_f noch ein paar kleinigkeiten gebaut aber nur fun oder training maps. Fuer ein Clan in California habe ich ne fullscale map gebaut...es ist die Raider Stadium(Oakland Raiders Football). Die map is echt cool geworden(die haben mir sogar 300 US dollar bezahlt dafuer !
I dont have upload space anymore so i cant even present these maps i made late in my CS days.....
And yes, Brainwash_f was supposed to have a sequel.....but with 1.6 and steam I decided not to do it...until LAN stuff is possible with it. I havent even downloaded 1.6 and may never download it......i dont know. Someone will have to tell how AMAZING it is for me to download it.

I sort of view my mapping and waypointing "carreer" sort of at its end. :'(
I would still love to map but i think i have seriously fallen behind. I may even have to :RTFM: !!! hehe

About CS1.6:
Since last week it's possible to play steam offline. The mapping shouldn't changed that much, at least all existing maps still work :D.

Wow, my topic got rather large. But i had to kinda give up CS mapping for now because Steam is being gay on my 56k connection and steam doesnt let you leave it on when you disconnect anymore :'(. So ive started mapping for just Half-Life again :D. I wish i could still use bots but steam just wont work for me anymore. Maby someone could talk valve into making a Bot-Steam so i can play offline? OR maby someone could make bots for half-life? (i have a non-steam version installed o_O ). *sigh*

it says "The connection to the Steam Content Server has been lost making it impossible for steam to continue running" or somthing then shuts down.

Is this mapping forum for CS maps only? o_O. Because i got steam to work now but when i startup a CS game it gives me a read error so im still mapping for half-life only. Right now im working on a map for fun, and i wanted to share things about it in a post on this forum but i dont know if i can or not ???:(.
