it says that files that i upload that the filename already exists

anyone else have this problem?

thats because it already exists...

you need to ask an admin to delete the existing file..
updating files using the filebase upload thing is hard...

I had this same problem over a month ago...
And I know the file never existed in the filebase.
I also tried multiple names, same problem...
I ended up giving up as I was kind of in a hurry.
How can there be a:
cs_pacific.nav
cs_pacific.zip
cspacific.nav
cspacific.zip
cs_pacific_nav_file.zip
and
cs_pacific_navfile.zip
all pre-existing.?.?.?
I think it's broken...
Maybe just the waypoint section is broken?
I dunno..

I suppose Huntakillaz will have tried to upload in the PODBot 2.6mm section, so if he had the same problem, it's not limited to the waypoint section...

There is something wrong with the filebase these days, at least since we've switched to the new server. I'm waiting for a SSH access to see if I can fix it.

yeah i tried many different files names and they all existed so i'm definately sure it's not me or the file it self

yeah, i tried to upload my botchat translation and it says that the name alredy existed, i Tried: botchat.txt,botchat, botchatspanish, botchatspanish by elitejavi(is there another elitejavi or i am mad??)

well, i wish you luck fixing the forum, but fix it before start trying to do other things(sometimes you try to turn something in the best thing and you finish goting a ton of errors!)

The filebase may be considered broken anyway. I would love to help out but I'm still waiting for my SSH account !

Anyway, I got kicked back to the main index when I tried to d/l. However, I tried the "e-mail to a friend" function and it looks like it has worked. If it hasn't, I'm afraid I can't help you, sorry...

Btw, both the d/l and the e-mail image on the filebase page aren't dislayed properly.

FritzBot is broken. There are still some ppl downloading, but I can't upload anything - it tells me the file already exists when thats impossible - because I haven't uploaded it yet! :(
