Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
You can download a new commandmenu.txt from the filebase, replace your old one and it should work.
HTH If it doesn't help you could allways try to type: realbot add in the consol. |
Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
I download newer commandmenu.txt and overwrite the old one ,Here still is my trouble . I can't use new command after connect the CS server with a windows CS client.

Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
Tonyjoy,
As far as I know, the command menu (the GUI) is only applicable when running a listen (=non dedicated) server. When I run my Linux server, I either connect to the console and type stuff like 'realbot killall' or use in my Windows console 'rcon realbot killall'. Of course, this works for all realbot commands, not only for 'killall' :D You can easily check whether Realbot is installed correctly: - in HL directory, there is a reallog.txt - a welcome message is displayed when you connect to a game - issue 'meta list' on the Linux HLDS console Hope this helps -eric |

I installed half-life builded 2046 into /hdls/hdls_1 directory, I can't find file reallog.txt anywhere in this directory.
I can see welcome messages, but I can't use any command, realbot add, realbot killall ...etc as you say |
Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
Hmmm, im no expert at this but don't you have to use 'rcon' to issue commands to a dedicated server?
rcon realbot add ??? |
Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
I use the command rcon realbot add
here is a error message *bad rcon password* can we add realbot at starting CS server with hdls_run c ommand contrain some options |
Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
i dont even see metamod is loaded?
|
Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
i would take it step by step
1) make sure HLDS is working 2) make sure metamod is working (we will try to support with those 2 things, but no guarantees) 3) make sure Realbot is working per other posts on this forum, realbot must be installed into the same directory as the cstrike directory |
Re: Help!!! problem with install realbot on linux CS server
what is metamod, how to config it runing ok ,how to install it

You should probably issue the command 'rcon_password SECRET' on the Windows console BEFORE running the 'rcon realbot add 1' command. Be sure to check on the Linux console with 'meta list' that metamod & realbot is running. -eric |
