Wanna be a bot?

So, you've always wanted to be a bot, eh?

Tell me what class you'd like to play:

LT - gives ammo, calls airstrikes.
MEDIC - heals people, revives dead.
ENG - builds and destroys structures in the world.
SOLDIER - carrys heavy weapons: sniper rifle, flamethrower, panzerfaust, venom(heavy machinegun). Pick which you like.

What team you like:

AXIS
ALLIES

What your name should look like (color characters are possible).

And some basic info on your play style (camper, attacker) and I'll create a bot profile of you and include it in the next release.

ANYONE can ask to be a bot in the next release. :)

Jump to avoid stuff(if possible..)
Aggressive play style; ie when enemy isn't in focus yet(but almost is) begin with shooting.

- Trigger-happy :D
- 95% attacker 5% camper
- Medium Tactics (I try to do tactics on CS, no one bothers though :P)
- Hump dead opponents bodies when no other enemies around (lol, it's a Halo thing, but I'm sure I'd work half-decent on RTCW. You stand over their dead bodies and rapidly hit the croutch key.)

If you don't get some of that done, like the dead carcass r*ping, I understnad 9_9

Rick, MarD, and SpLoRyGoN: Soldiers have access to a variety of weapons, which they can pick before they spawn. Which would you guys like to have:

SMG
Sniper Rifle
Flame Thrower
PanzerFaust
Venom (heavy machinegun)

well if you have some sort of weapon priority list:
SMG
Flame Thrower
Sniper Rifle
PanzerFaust
Venom
I'll choose that order of priority SMG most Venom least.
if not then just use SMG :)

BTW: there is no priority list in Fritz - it isn't needed since you always have access to the weapons of your choice (theres no money to worry about).

EVERY class gets an SMG - soldier is special because it can carry the heavy weapons. :)

Hello all i am new to Fritzbot and its fun.

if you still need names of bots i will sign up to.

One warning tho - the sniper rifle isn't really supported very well ATM, tho that will change very soon!

weapons: guns that have a fairly good precision at middle range (I like zooms btw, like the Steyr Aug in Counter Strike)
style: Mal, I hereby ask you to make this bot the worst bitch you've ever played against :D Concretely: silent, outflank a lot but never exposed, very shy when alone, always under cover, camps a lot, and always throw a nade at first sight
teamplay: starts running with the second half of the team, when the first wave of assault already started. In squads, leapfrogs all the time and provides coverage a lot, but never as pointman, always in middle or 2/3 position (but not the last either)

I'm impatient to hear about your next release! :P

No prob - except that allied meds don't have access to the MP40 - they use the thompson. :(

Now, I made it where meds CAN easily drop their guns and pick up other SMG, but you'd have to be an axis med to start with the MP40. So would you rather be axis, or just settle for allies and thompson?


Everyone else - your bot profiles have been made. Now understand - there still is a lot of work to be done to give them distinct personalities, so some of what your requesting isn't possible ATM and will have to be added in at a later time (tho there much of it is available too - so don't be discouraged!).

Ahm...

in Osp, cant a medic change to the enemy smg ? not quite shure about it.... but if it cannot switch, i would be fine in the axis team ...

BTW: Fritz isn't based on OSP - thats a seperate and complete mod in itself. ;)

The choice is yours, but from what you described, you would probably be a soldier with a sniper rifle (mauser). The mauser zooms, like the awp, and has all of the same strengths and weaknesses as the awp, except that it doesn't slow you down. Like the awp, you wouldn't want to get into a gunfight up close with someone carrying a SMG, but as a sniper weapon, its very dangerous and powerful.

You also get a pistol, and 4 frag grenades when your a soldier.
