Headshot Plugin Help
 

It the plugin effects don't work, on the headshot plugin. It is loaded correctly and the commands even work but you can still shot and hit any body part, is it not compatible with 1.6?

Install metamod 1.17.1
Install my no head shots to humans dll.

It works fine on CZ so it should work fine on CS 1.6

Bots get head shotted, humans don't, it works, just install it... no cvars... no messing around...

thanks austin for the upload but i want it to take effect on all players and I can't get headshot_mm.dll recoded by PMB to work i tried the CVARS but they don't work the plugin is loaded..... it says it is working but it doesn't. Does it only work on humans or just bots or both?

Doesn't this explain it?
As a human player you Can head shot the bots, but
the bot's head shots on humans is ignored. No damage.
Run the plugin under metamod. That is all you need to do.

If this isn't want you want, explain IN CLEAR TERMS what you want and I will build you a version that does what you want.

I have tested it again today, and from what I see it works perfectly well ?

I tested it in CS 1.6 and The Specialists. It works in both.

Just ensure you see the message "Headshot: plugin attaching" and set the damage_allow CVAR to some value AFTER the plugin is loaded. Bring down your console and type "damage_allow 6" for example. Then shoot at an enemy and you'll see you won't be able to kill him unless you aim for his leg.

Note that it doesn't work with "projectile" weapons such as missiles and bolts.

it should work on both humans and bots, although I never tried with humans but since the principle is exactly the same the plugin should work as well on humans.

Yes, this looks like a working config. Damage_allow 1 will allow damage to the head only and disable all other damage on other parts of the body. Try buying a desert eagle and shoot in your teammates' feet, you should see that their health doesn't drop.

Here is a video of me and a bot i have tha plugin loaded, damage_allow 1 and i shoot him iin the legs and he dies....

Remove everything but the bot and the headshot plugin ? try another bot ?

Or perhaps put it at different positions in the plugins.ini file ? say you try once with the plugin at the top of the file and once at the bottom ?

this is mind boggling !
