Can't download from filebase
 

I'm having trouble downloading pb2.6 latest release, date added 7/26/04, and the latest stable release as well.
I press the download button and then i scroll down and press agree.... and it says "the page is not availiable"...

I have tried downloading from other projects with no problems, it seems as if the "agree" doesn't work, 'cause i can download as long as i don't have to "agree" to the licens terms.
Is it only me who have this problem or are the links broken?

All of them seem fine for me.

Do you have a firewall installed?

Hmmm....
I downloaded and installed Mozilla. Didn't change any settings and tried to download. It didn't work.
I can not browse to www.mapzap.org.....
I wonder if it's blacklisted by my isp or something 'cause I have uninstalled all my anti spy/adware protection. Still doesn't work.

And i havn't got a firewall.

I know it's my fault and that I should fix it... somehow. But I can't seem to get around this... Could someone please put the latest pb_2.6 dll on some other site and post the link for me.

What a weird problem... especially because you said that you could d/l other things from the filebase just fine! So you can't even go to mapzap.org? That's really odd. Why would your ISP block such harmless pages? Beats me... ???:(

Well, it isn't my ISP after all.
I connected with another computer and it worked fine.
But now I have this small task of figuring out what the .... is wrong with my main comp. :'( >:( :(

Dont bother ... windows is too random at times. just go and reformat :)

xp pro is rock soild ...i use to use xp home and it crashed often...i havent had a crash since i installed pro...(~almost 6 months now) and i don't even use windows update, i just wait for service packs to come out and then reformat n install windows to keep it clean.

twice a month? I restore(ghost) my system twice (or more) a WEEK. no kidding.

Just FYI: On my internet PC, Win98SE (should be "SA" for "stone age") has lived nearly 2 years so far, and on my other machine a little over a year. But it highly depends on what you do, of course. Being able to keep all the internet-related stuff off my "real" PC helps me a lot. Besides, I hardly install new software unless I'm absolutely convinced that it will help. But before, I reformatted VERY often. That was when I still had WIN98 first edition... :|

Hehe, well a bit off topic :D

I fixed it.. or a bunch of anti spyware/adware did, (downloaded 5 ) and ran them all. One by one and when they finished I ran them again.. they still found spyware and stuff... well, don't know wich one did it but my comp is working like a charm again :D

Reformat? Then you admit to beeing beaten by a comp.. I refuse! ;)
Since XP pro i havn't formated/reinstalled and it's been 2 years now. =)

then again I've just moved the file link from mapzap.org to BU's filebase upload place to save some bandwidth :D
