How many of you have RTCW, or can get ahold of it?
 

With the Preview #1 release only days away, I'm wondering how many of the other bot authors/forum regulars here have access to RTCW and can test the release.

It would be REALLY nice to get some feedback from a fellow bot author/user. ;)

So, show of hands - who will test it? :)

I have RTCW, but at the moment I dont have much time, I'll see what I can do when the next big test is over

I have RTCW too, but it's not currently installed. I'll install it when your bot comes out. ;)

My brother has RTCW somewhere, maybe I install it :)

NOTE: to any that are going to (re)install it to test, be sure you get the latest patch (1.4).

hiya there just re intalled RTCW cause i was searching since long time for a bot but dident get to work it yet ... maybe im missing how to start this bot ?

Destruction came with RTCW, theres no way you don't have it. ;)

Did you read fritz.doc? It goes into detail - if you still haven't got it working, let me know exactly what you did, where its installed, how you start it, etc.

If so, I think I can try to pick out some bugs for you. Although I don't have RTCW but I know something about Quake2 coding and RTCW SDK is similar to Q2 :)

I have RTCW... but v1.0 I think... I tried to play it anywho, won't load... guess you need v1.4 to be able to load mods eh?....

Sighs, guess I have to update... it's 11mb of doom since I ain't got internet at home, n' the teachers might get suspicious of me if I swap like 10 floppies in n' out of this computer. :P

MarD: yes, you need 1.41 to play Fritz. Thats the source version I built Fritz from.

True, but these school computers are just CD-ROMs, not burnable... I guess they don't want us doing any serious copying. :(

I have RtCW and play regularly, I would'nt mind being a guinea pig for you..8)

I already have the first version of Fritzbot and found it to be a pleasant improvement on many a public server :D .
