Re: updated WIP dll

perhaps the linux version (if it crashes...) can point out WHERE it crashes? i know there are utilities for it. Greg (who is a linux guru) did that a couple of times for me.

Re: updated WIP dll

i haven't had a crash running cs 1.6 DS but i have been experiencing the server locking up to any input and using all available cpu, though it traps a ctrl+c correctly. :| ???:(

Re: updated WIP dll

running CS 1.5 adminmod hlguard statsme and this new WIP of realbot, on Freebsd 5.2 no problem yet. I do have one question. should i remove the rbn/rbx files for this or leave them. i have the ones from the WIP #9 linux package from the filebase.

thanks
Ben

Re: updated WIP dll

i've been using the waypoints for #9 for a while, bots just won't go up or down ladders. otherwise it works fine.
it's funny on assault, the T's just stand on the ledge waiting for the cts to rush in

Re: updated WIP dll

yes, wip #9 nodes are created but not connected on ladders. This issue has been fixed in WIP #10 and WIP #11. So... to be sure they will use them, remove the RBN (and RBX) files of those maps... the other maps can still be used, though i advice you to remove ALL RBN files, there where some changes compared to WIP #9 , so new connections can be made.

Where I'm keeping my life Linux realbot (which means also quite debugging/buggy)...

OT:
evy, are you running a dedicated server for you linux bots?
if so, what other plugins do you have?

bzientek 02-07-2004 02:04

Re: updated WIP dll

evy, thanks for the link, but unfortunately it does not work. I get an error about another file that my system can't find. I'm running FreeBSD 5.2

Josh could you recompile the latest and post a link?

Thanks.

Ben

Re: updated WIP dll

here they are
both compiled with gcc 2.95 and metamod 1.17.1
noshield has code to disable bots from buying shield, it kept crashing my server
shield they do buy shields
in both version i've turned off the worldspawn messages
if you need this changed, let me know.

btw, would you prefer tar.gz over zip?

--edit--
they still buy shields, if you want me to upload the correct version, let me know

Re: updated WIP dll

dang your fast! Thanks again.

I can deal with any archive so zip is fine, but what ever is easier for you i guess, doesn't matter to me.
