Bots doesnt do a thing or a little bit...
 

Hi,
I have install real bot with the metamod and this is work great but the bots doesnt do nothing. They just stay in spawn section or they jus move in a little zone not far away of the spawn. ???:(

I dont know if i have do a thing in the install but they just do nothing...

i probably write news and changelogs for walls and things that cannot read....

the new WIP has to LEARN from you. If you don't want to let bot learns from you, you can download Nodes files from my site. As i said it is WIP (Work In Progress) , and therefor not supported , meaning you mostly have to figure things out yourself.

Hint:
- do not add bots in a map yet
- walk around the map for 1 round , visit important places
- when new round starts, add bots

I downloaded the mm dll do i put this in my cstrike dll's folder or meh realbot one

omg, only use the metamod wip version if you know what metamod is and where to put files plz. Else you can always find information on the several topics on this forum. ::)

For those who have question about the bots "They have to learn to be effective".
but if you have friends who can help you this will be the best. Because you have to start at every spot at the spawn for the bots learn of you. If you dont start of a place where a bot start he will do nothing and hs you at is spawn lol.

yes, almost right. Bots who are 'stuck' at their spawn spoint should try to reach other spawn points to complete these gaps in nodes for you. This works, but not all of the time. (when spawn points are to far away).

i think its cool that the bot can "learn" :)
do the bot always learn from players or only in the first time i play with the bot?

bots learn every round from you. THey will never stop learning actually, constantly adapting/changing the information they have recieved when playing a round.

That was my problem..They learn quickly and kill efficiently, but never saved any data. Im running hlds win32, and got everything working except the training being saved...ideas?

Oh,and I almost forgot. They don't buy. I can buy a weapon and throw it to them. But they run out of ammo and didn't know it. Then they got killed with an AK that was empty..lol

i am having that problem too they arent saving the information that they learn... do i have to download a node?...do they create the node? i dont have any node files in the map or exp folders....
