Hey PMB , I have became your student now (I read your navmesh tutorial :P )
but some part I don't under stand , can I post something about it here ? ???:(

It's too complicated for a kid, PBlover, the second (3)COLORS, slash-evil or whoever you are. In one year or two when you'll be able to write a single C program that works without ripping it fresh, consider coming back. You were already banned from this forum so I won't even bother replying to your question. Disciplinary actions against you are currently being debated by the Council btw.

He had 3 different nicknames. Banned once, and came back twice. He's a lamer of the worst species. He first came at botman's claiming to everyone he had written an almost perfect bot in less than 2 weeks, which when we asked him where to download it proven to be a big fake. The kid has an almost void knowledge of coding but boasts to be able to lecture everybody about C++, algorithmics and such. We've thus been making great fun of him several times by fooling him into talking extensively about the "Marconi pathfinder", an algorithm that doesn't even exist :D Later on he came back at Bots United with his latest creation he called "slashbot", which was basically POD-bot shamelessly ripped off. He asked for advice on how to fix bugs that were long time fixed in the POD-bot source code by the myriads of podfixes available, and would you believe we even told him how to do, but he was prolly unable to even apply the patches we were talking about, and he charged us later of having ruined his beautiful bot. Then he started making a lot of noise again, posting stupidities and finally asked OFFICIALLY to join the Bots United crew with his bot. Unbelievable. I'd always thought n00bs like that could only be seen in movies.

Anyway smelly kids like this one are amusing for the first five minutes, but after that they get tiresome, that's why we had to ban him (THREE times) in order for him to shut up.

FYI, I learned that after being bashed upon here he immediately registered an account at Nuclearbox and started asking help for fixing his "slashbot" in the bot developers forum there. Unbelievable, I tell you.

lol, reminds me of "masterwakelam" at the www.gtaforums.com lol, he'd always ask for help on how to make a good bodyguard mod. I told him I released my source code, and then again... and again... I even hot-linked him to the download... but still... lmao...

Apparently, BW's Mission Builder's in pearl, and that was easy for me, and I was wonderin' if C++ has some similarity at all, cause I heard, it's like it's own language. :P

come to think of it, I forgot where your navmesh tutorial is (can't find it on your webby.. maybe my eyes are failing me) I couldn't annoy you and ask for the link? I haven't looked at since it was put up, can't remember were it was to 8-).. might like a read after such time. :-p

Riight.. Install Visual Studio, download the metamod source and the HL SDK, get PODBot source, do a few Find / Replace.. RAR! PH34R SLUGBOT!

An old mate of mine who did something like this with a different prog found himself in court, (Breach of licence and copyright) Just becase its open source, doesnt mean that you can rip it :p

It was totally unrelated to HL, he used an open source program, renamed it and closed the source, and made a small ammount of money off it (not selling the program, but he made it seem like he coded it, and was accepting donations for other peoples work).

So remember children, stealing is bad :p
