three current colours are fine....it's the two beams that comr from the camp flags that should be orange....unless u done something to the camp....

it should a cyan for both...a cyan\red ==whitish\pink....and cyan\blue ==whitish blue....u can easily tell these three colours from the normal red and blue wp's

as for the camp sure we could but u should also have the end come straight after in the menu

so when u select camp 4,7 then u get another menu with
camp:
" 1. Camp Start\n"
" 2. Camp End\n"

also could the no hostage and rescue goto together coz i find especially when tweaking existing wp's the normal is used alot more than goal so it would be nicer if it was in the main menu rather than the sub....

what do u wp's think?

argh i can't find the wp save thread...

anyways here's the deal ...lets change wp save to let u choose

well I've just uploaded a new beta...

I removed "autoaddremove"
now it should work just the way it is said to work in the podbot.cfg...
I changed those waypoint colors..
fixed that little bug to make you get teleported to the waypoint that is not zero..
and something with their aiming to stop the shaking and also make it more humanlike..
and I've been playing with them for a while now..
they haven't thrown a nade in the wrong direction...
maybe it's fixed??
please everyone test this and find as many bugs as possible..

Try in this way: get my podbot.cfg, set in this cfg Your cvar to 1, check if there are only 8 addbot commands, change max_bots to 10, take Your dll created 2004.06.06 (is there some newer?):
1. Start DS (DEDICATED, DEDICATED, DEDICATED...)
2. After starting game try in console status to show the list of players (why there are 10 bots - there were only 8 addbot commands in my podbot.cfg - it seems like Your cvar do something like fillserver, but without writing this command).
3. Check if exactly all bots are joined to correct team, because some of them join not to the team specified in addbot command in podbot.cfg, it's the next bug...
4. Type in console pb removebots - yes - bots will be kicked until reaching min_bots parameter and this is working OK , but after one second Your bots re-enter back to the game without some of Your commands (look some post in thread written by Huntkillaz if You don't believe me) - and THIS is wrong.

kwo....i'm not taking sides or anything..and i'm not exactly sure how the dedicated server side works....but' i've been looking at the code lately..and am trying to help splo in any way i can....

but i know that i cannot change stuff like pmb did and splo cannot do the same ..we aren't as good as pmb in coding...splo is better than me but not like pmb....

sf's list is outdated alot...my 'idea's bug's' created more recently has also become outdated coz of so many new features needed and so many bugs found..coder's try to fix stuff they can and know easiest 1st

coding is hard especially working off someone elses's code..and code which has patches.....i leanrt java but as far as i know about coding i look at the source code and it's a horiffic mess....even after pmb did indenting and clean up's....

have a look at yapb bot's code..it's alot nicer....i'm actually gonna ask whistler if he wants to help me clean it this code up...so it looks better and is easy to read.

the camps were the changed???

they look to similar now it was fine b4 (the orange beams are awesome :D)

and what was the green changed to..it looks like it died :( what rgb value did u make it?

the teal incoming is much better it's possible to run through the map seeing all connections :D though down side is that it get similar wif the radius...so u may have to move to the left or right a bit to see clearly if u really wanna see it clearly,clearly.

Rambo, Android , Luis IVan - are not in correct team. But this test you should repeat at least twice to see this effect. Another thing - tell me why there are 10 bots connected to the game (I have only 8 addbot commands in my podbot.cfg and especially for You "pause 3" is commented out)? There is max_bots 10, but I didn't put the line pb fillserver. Why there are 2 bots more than I wanted?

This time there is one bot mor than I wanted (but there is 10 players, maxplayers was setted at 14). Some of bots are in incorrect team, too.

@T Wrecks - here You can look how seems DS console - how I test it.
If somebody wants to try DS , too, but he doesn't know how to setup DS - ask me - it's simple. I prepared a litle tutorial for T Wrecks how simply setup a DS for tests (for looks at console, without joining to the game) - so I can put this at forum, too, if somebody needs this.

New DLL...
 
The new DLL is great but with a few things going wrong for it. The grenade throwing is a lot better yet they do still throw stuff randomly with especially smoke nades everything else is good not great but much better. They do still kill themselves with there own nad sometimes. Seems to happen in close quarter maps or they kill a team mate since I have FF on :)

i have a problem too with this version version...
everytime i start a new game the game crash, so i edit the podbot.ini and remove the "addbot" command to disable automatic bot adding at game startup...
after that i can start the game without crashing, but when i add bots on it the server crash again...

and then i tried deleting all waypoints in wptdefault folder and try to run the game again, this time it worked, but because i don't have any waypoint, i cannot add bots...

this is the installation method that i use :

i install the game at C:\Program Files\Valve\cstrike

and then i put metamod to
C:\Program Files\Valve\cstrike\addons\metamod\dlls

and podbot in
C:\Program Files\Valve\cstrike\addons\podbot

and then i changed cstrike liblist.gam to :

Good job! But needs this setting:

becasue some part of wrong code in PB2.5 and some releases before (one asse incorrect during aiming) now is fixed also in podbot_mm.dll .

the latest podbotBETA is still doesn't worked for me... i always kicked out of the game and returned to desktop... eventhough i haven't tried to add a bot...

when i changed to the previous version i still can enter the game... but it returned back to desktop when i add bot...

In Your podbot.cfg file try to move these commands lines:

min_bots 0
max_bots 10

behind line

maxbotskill 100

This works much more better, because sometimes first automaticaly added bots (because of these min/max_bots) ignore minbotskill and maxbotskill parameter (I tried it - for sure).

What the version of metamod.dll are You using?
What is Your command line in the shortcut to the game Counter-Strike?
What is Your autoexec.cfg file in CSTRIKE directory (if You have this file)?

So no I'm confused and surprised. Standard CS1.6 is a Steam version so the path of Your podbot directory should be like this
C:\Program Files\valve\steam\SteamApps\your_email_adress\coun ter-strike\cstrike\addons\podbot

and cstrike with liblist.gam file this:
C:\Program Files\valve\steam\SteamApps\your_email_adress\coun ter-strike\cstrike

but this path You wrote is like for CS1.5 .???:(

So - do You have Steam or not? I suppose not, but You have some parts of Steam CS1.6 game (maybe extracted by some gcf reader) like shield , galil etc. How did You install this game? From some CD and after You updated by some updates/patches from Internet or how?

It seems like You have some non standard installation of CS and probably this is a source of Your problems...

i got it from my friend... he said he downloaded it from the internet... the files cs16full_v6.exe and the size is 278,834 kb

i tried running the game and type version... and this is what i get :

I just wanted to point out i don;t know if anyone else has noticed this or said anything about it i am on vacation so i can't really keep up right now but i have the latest version of podbot for 1.6 and if i am T i CANNOT shot the CT bots but if I am a CT the T bots can shoot me it's weird

Yes - I used Google right now and I found many rusian pages with this file but I'm not sure if this is an official version of CS1.6 .
Official Steam CS1.6 is this file (try use Google):
SteamInstall_CS.exe (397 857 244 bytes).

steaminstall.exe (500kb) and dl the files

Umm, how are you guys waypointing? I read the manual in the doc folder, but it keeps on saying the waypoint commands are invalid..

Yup, I'm working on them right now. However, I don't have that much time on my hands right now (10 hrs @ work today + final exam @ the university + Holland - Portugal tonight :D ) - but it will not only be updated, but way better than the old one once it's finished!

when hl2 is out :P

nah but i think closer to mid\end of july since the development has gone slow a bit, but we want a quality release :)

for now just keep using the beta's ;) they rock!

My bots aren't getting weapons with CSDM mod. They still use the usp/glock for me. Except when I just start it, some bots uses the deagle.?
