I've just got the info from another experienced AMD64linux user.

He is recommending:
- to run "top", to see cpu load on each cpu and on each kernel on cpu.
- turn off other servers, because they clear cache on cpu when
sheduler change task very often, linux kernel have options,
that allow you to change frequency, its name in kernel:
Timer frequency:
- 100 HZ (recommended on DS!)
- 250 HZ
- 1000 HZ
and another option: Preemption Model:
- No Forced Preemption (Server)
- Voluntary Kernel Preemption

Another experience - server with 2 AMD64 Opteron processors:
For some unknown reason more players than 26 was increasing the CPU usage to maximum. The solution was odd (but effective):
run server on different kernel on CPU.

Try these hints above and let us know if Your problem is gone.

Don't be angry KWo but I will NEVER change a kernel only to get PodBot running :D
I changed the steam binary to start the server but with all options the effect is the same, the bots are in slow motion mode...

OK - try the latest beta (v3beta9a) - it uses different way of calculation frame's time. Maybe it will help You.

I installed v3beta10a now and the slow motion seems to be gone.
Now the bots are walking like drunken, running in a circle or against walls.

Take a look yourself

I was unlucky, because when I was there - on Your server there were playing only 2 bots and 4 people... Didn't see the effect bumping into walls as drunken. I think it could happen for You on some maps You are using incorrect waypoints - for example - de_aztec used with pwf created for de_aztec CS1.5 or something like that. Try to observe it more carefully - if it happens only on certain maps or on each map.

I am using the Waypoints from the directory.
I am running dust2 and italy only on this server.

Do you have better waypoints for me for that?

btw. does an amxx mod exist for the menu stuff?

What do You mean? Read podbot.cfg provided with the beta - there is describen how to invoke podbot menu whille playing on dedicated server (that stuff with setinfo and that bind).

Well I did this and its working fine.
What I was asking for is if there is a posibility to add this menu as submenu into the standard amxx menu.
Currently the menu needs an own setinfo and command.

It would be nice if it can be a submenu of amxx using its rights system also.
