Well in answer to that all i can do is show u what most people have in layout;

For cs 1.6
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\Your@Email.co.uk\counter-strike\RealBot\dll\realbot_mm.dll

For cs 1.5
C:\Sierra\counter-strike\cstrike\realbot\dll\realbot_mm.dll

yep that's what I got
I also tried puting the .dll in my addons/realbot/ folder, neither one worked.

put itm in the cstrike/dlls folder

then the path would be

win32 ..dlls/realbot_mm.dll right

weird, that's how mine is & I run both HPB & realbot from that folder. Any errors?

Well...something don't add up here m8ty, cos in ur pasted picture it says ur file has been seen and read in the metamod plugins.ini file but is not active. which tells me its in the wrong place. Or basically it can't find it.

Plus the other thing I noticed is that some of ur links are wrong. like these;

win32 addons/amx/dlls/fun_ms.dll
win32 addons/amx/dlls/csstats_ms.dll

These are not metamod plugins but amxmod plugins and should be written in this file.

C:\Sierra\counter-strike\cstrike\addons\amx\modules.ini

yeah I'm not worried about those, I noticed that too.

those are in the copy of plugins.ini that I'm not using right now.

I did notice that it loaded 1 plugin but won't let it run.

that's messed up and that's what's stumping me

Ok m8, lets start basic shall we.


If i were u I'd clear the meta plugins.ini file and then type in;

; Realbot
win32 ../realbot/dll/realbot_mm.dll RealBot


Then I'd save that. Then I'd make sure that the realbot_mm.dll file is in the right folder which is;

C:\Sierra\counter-strike\cstrike\realbot\dll\realbot_mm.dll

And nowhere else.

I'd then go to my liblist.gam file

Which is found here;

C:\Sierra\counter-strike\cstrike\

And make sure it says this;

game "Counter-Strike"
url_info "www.counter-strike.net"
url_dl ""
version "1.5"
size "184000000"
svonly "0"
secure "1"
type "multiplayer_only"

Then I'd make sure that metamod.dll is where its supposed to be which is here;

C:\Sierra\counter-strike\cstrike\addons/metamod/dlls/metamod.dll

Then last but not least I'd make sure I had all the uptodate files of metamod.dll and realbot_mm.dll

And if that don't work then it must be the target line, but i won't confuse u, wait till u've tried all that first. And let me know. :D

it worked! hell yeah.

the problem was I didn't have a folder in cstrike, only in counter-strike.

I knew it had to be something simple and stupid (i feel like an idiot now)
