Hey All I am having some problems here with podbot menu.

Anywho.. I runs a Dedicated CS 1.6 (non secure) Server here in calgary, Ab running on windows XP Pro..with amxmodx 1,0 & Metamod 1.17.3

Currently running plugins:

I just recently found out that Podbot 2.6mm had an update (and there pages was back up) So I updated to the newest version.. We were running older version. Not sure which one. but was podbot 2.6mm soomething.. but did tend to crash now and then. There was no menu or any way control/config them other then changing the CFG file. which was pain...

I downloaded the newest version (as far I can tell) and updated the dll too..

The Bots are working fine. Server is fine and all my amxmodx plugins are working fine.

But the podbotmenu does not work. and I still can not add/or remove bots/config from either when I logon onto server (loggin into game) or at server screen.

Iv gone threw the docs and still searching all over trying

to find out why the podbotmenu don't work.. Its set in the podbot.cfg as = but it no worky. Then I found this and found amxx menu. I was thinking.
' oh perfect. maybe now I can control/config the bots without having to logon the server now everytime now if i want to change something for the bots.' !!

(I setup CS server/config it/ but it runs at my friends house on his spare 2.2 Ghz computer)

Anywho. This podbot is really pissing me off, I was hoping this amxx plugin would control/config and let me change/run the bots.
But the menu pops up after iv bind a key. but none of the functions seem to work. It wont add a bot, Wont kick a bot.. wont go to the weapons menu.. Nothing..

Yet the bots are working all fine..

I'm to the point that im ready pull my hair out..
can somebody please help me or tell me if I'm doing something wrong, Why this amx_podbotmenu don't seem to work for me. and yes Iv tryed even re-compling it. but it still dont work.. It pops up ok. but nothing happens..
Please help me.. or do i have find better bot program

I've tested it on listenserver CS1.6 and CS1.5 and it should work with AMX MOD X 1.0 . About access rights - You should be recognized by AMX MOD X as someone with right like "ADMIN_MENU" - normally as admin for AMX MOD X (without any necessity of some access by rcon).

Hey

Yup Prety sure it was that one. and yes got Admin rights, The pbmenu and
comands do show up in the list when i type amx_help (from 1- 150 commands )
The amx_pbaddbot works.. will let me add bots manually.. but the basic
pdbotmenu loads up but if you try any the options. Nothing happens..
I can bind a key for it.. and loads up the amx_pbmenu.. but none of the command work..

Yes i have adminaccess with Amx . I checked all the flags. The only flag
I don't have setup is the A flag. Becasue We all agrred (other 2 admins)
we want to be able slap/uberslap other admins :P

Anywho. I reloaded that zip and going try re-install it.. but it shows up,
and says its loaded fine in AMX

anywho thats all plugins. they all working. server seems be running good..
tho one of my Admin just msg me. He said he had to add bots when he logged on early this moring.
I'll have to go check the cfg's i guess..

anywho. Could it be cuz I dont have A access or is maybe something
to do with Rcon? Tho I don't know much about the Rcon. never needed to.
Amx has prety much been all iv needed..

Hey Im downloading this new one. see if it works. I disabled that last one cuz it wasn't doing anything. the amx_pdadbots (I forget exzact command) worked. but rest didn't.. but I'll try this.. if dont work I'll get back to ya

Hey I tryed the plugin. Its seems to work. Tho I knotice that with our Server (set for 22 players) (2 res slots for Admins) with 12 players on Ter side and few bots on CT side. When i try kick and Random Ter Bot. nothing happens.. Not sure if this just a bug? Menu prob or what.
It seems to kick CT side. (if 8 or less) but I'll mess around wth it more and anything else I find I'll let ya know.
So weither there a prob witch kickin Just Ter bots threw the menu or not not sure.

Id say your welcome sometime log on our CS Server (need Cheating death tho ) but dont want make anybody mad here if I post our IP #..

To make sure - I've downloaded the file (zip) fro post nr 16 of this topic and I've tested it under CS1.5. Kicking bots works on the first map and also on the next one. It works also after removing and adding them - no matter which team.
Make sure You have that one from the post 16 (amxx one).

You know I think it would be cool if we can haev the option for only ceritan weapons like SMG only (Just SMG) No machine gun or anything just SMG and such things like Awp and Scoutz and Knifez only will also be very cool.

Thanks very much for the Plugin, But I'm still having
a few problems. Unless it something to just with my PodBot mm 2.6 version?
1 of the probelms is when i do tell bots to use a certain
weapon. Say just sniper weapons. They are still using hand guns or smg.. but when I put to Knife only
That works fine..
Also I'm still having trouble kicking bots sometime.
Yes the kick all bots works good
Most times works fine. but other times it dont.
I had 6 vs 6 (few players on CT side) I was in spec mode
and wouldn't let me kick any Terr.

As said before Running Cs 1.6 Server you said you tested on 1.5.. could u test on 1.6? or Anybody else had any problems with podbot menu

Also quick question
When you do a " Quick add bot" Does it take the skill set
in the cfg? or is just random skill?

I have podbot names on. but wonder when I do quick
add bot. They all seem to be at 100. (even if skill on there name says otherwise)

Tho RIght now i went into bodbot cfg and put to max..
just to see when i add bot. if they all at 100. So far so good.

No , R2B46 is OK.

They keep the current weapon until die (it may works so even few rounds - until die). Then they will use the weapon You chose. Knife (jason mode) works a bit different way.



So You want to say sometimes You are able to kick T bot and sometimes no? OK. I'll test it more then also under CS1.6.

It adds a bot with random skill based on minbotskill/maxbotskill parameters in podbot.cfg (from this range).

Maybe they are too hard for You? :)
